Itinerary Details

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu & sightseeing (in case of early arrival)

At your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Himalayan trekkers representative will meet, greet, assist and transfer you to the overnight staying hotel. After hotel check-in, you will be taken for sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley (in case of early arrival only).

 

Accommodation: 3 star hotel in KTM
Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Pattale Danda
8-9 hrs
Max Altitude: 3,100 m

After breakfast, you are then driven to Pattale Danda (3100 m).

On the way, you can enjoy the beautiful rice terrace and cultivate farming, landscape, and the terrifying yet fun road drive. The construction of the road gives you feeling similar to a roller coaster ride.

But you may also get the opportunity to get a closer view of local village, people and their lifestyle and culture.

After reaching Pattale danda, you will enjoy the beautiful sunset view. Nonetheless, on clear weather, you will get the most amazing and close panoramic view of Mt. Everest, Mount Makalu, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, Numbur, Karyalung, Cholahtse, Tawache, Pumori, Khumbuchen, Thamserku and many more.

Day 3: Sunrise & Mountain View & drive back to Kathmandu
8-9 hrs

Early morning, you get to see the warm sunrise view from the Lodge/ Guesthouse you are staying in. After that, you get to enjoy the breakfast looking at the beautiful Mountain View. You get to relax for a certain time and we drive back to Kathmandu.

We drop you at the hotel and you are on your own. We suggest you roam the streets of Thamel to buy souvenirs to take back home.

Day 4: Kathmandu sightseeing
5-6 hrs

After breakfast, you start your sightseeing from Swoyambhunath (the Monkey Temple). Then you are taken to Kathmandu Durbar Square. Finally, you are taken to Pashupatinath and Boudhanath.

You can take pictures, look at the amazingly built stupas, temples and architectural buildings with their own historical and cultural values.

In the evening, a representative of Himalayan trekkers will take you for a Farewell Dinner.

Day 5: Final departure

This is how your short trip to Nepal ends.

Our airport representative will transfer you to the airport 3 hours earlier your scheduled flight back to your hometown.

Generally, in cities like Kathmandu, Lukla, and Namche Bazar, we arrange basic three-star facilities. If available, you can opt for a more budget-friendly option or upgrade to a more luxurious hotel by paying a little extra. 

Meals

Breakfast is usually included with your B&B Accommodation within the cost that is evident. For other meals in the city, you would have to pay separately. Often in the cities, you can choose from many different cuisines and varied food services. We can always help you find the right place to fit your taste.

On top of that, Himalayan Trekkers also organizes Welcome or Farewell Dinners as a symbol of warm greetings.
