Itinerary Details

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
30 mins
Max Altitude: 1,350 m

Your flight to Kathmandu will be scenic as you will see the panoramic view of the Himalayan Range with its very own natural beauty.

Upon your arrival in the country of Mt. Everest, a representative from Himalayan Trekkers will greet you at the airport in Kathmandu and assist you to the hotel.

Accommodation: 3 star hotel in KTM
Day 2: Half-day Kathmandu sightseeing & trek preparation
Max Altitude: 1,350 m

Today after breakfast you will be picked up by your city tour guide and takes you to some of the landmarks of the Kathmandu Valley like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath and so on.

You will visit some of these and the rest of the time you can do last moment shopping for trekking by consulting with your trekking guide.

Day 3: Scenic drive to Baglung
8-9 hrs drive

After breakfast, you will be driven to the western region of Nepal. On the journey, you will witness the amazing attractions of real Nepal.

After reaching Baglung, night halt with good food and rest.

Day 4: Trek to Okhle
6-7 hrs
Max Altitude: 1,200 m

With a delicious breakfast, you will begin the trek to Okhle via many villages, farmlands, forest.

After reaching Okhle, hight halt at a homestay.

Day 5: Trek to Phedi/ Tarakhola gaon
6-7 hrs
Max Altitude: 1,800 m

After morning good tea and locally prepared breakfast, you will then trek to Phedi or Tarakhola gaon for overnight. 

Although the trek of the day is a bit longer, the trekking team members with your friends and scenic natural beauty will always motivate you to move forward. You can also take good pictures for memory.

Day 6: Trek to Rum via Dansi Lekh Pass
6-7 hrs
Max Altitude: 2,800 m

Today you with your trekking team members will march towards Rum hight halt destination.

Today it will be a bit exciting trip as you will cross the Dansi Lekh Pass. After reaching Rum (1,900 m) you will fall in good sleep with enjoying delicious food in a homestay.

Day 7: Trek to Bonga Khani via Sole Lekh
8-9 hrs
Max Altitude: 2,600 m

With warm breakfast, you will begin today's walk a bit earlier than that of previous days.

You will cross Sole Lekh by enjoying majestic Gurja Himal and other mountain views with green hills and beautiful valley.

For night halt you will reach Bonga Khani where locals will be waiting for you with delicious foods and drinks.

Day 8: Trek to Gurjaghat via Gurjaghat Pass
7-8 hrs
Max Altitude: 3,350 m

Today you with your teammates will be reaching to Gurjaghat (lower Gurja village) for overnight stay. Today also you will be crossing the pass; Gurjaghat Pass from where you will get amazing and fantastic views.

After arriving at Gurjaghat take a good rest.

Day 9: Acclimatization day at Gurjaghat
Max Altitude: 3,000 m

it is a free day to get proper rest.

As it is a day to acclimatize, you can explore the Gurjaghat and also can hike to visit the Chentung monastery. You can take part in meditation, interact with monks and enjoy some quality time by spending in a monastery.

Return back to Gurjaghat for night halt.

Day 10: Trek to Gurja Khani via Ragachaur Pass
8-9 hrs
Max Altitude: 3,900 m

Today you will be reaching the highest point of the trek i.e Ragachaur Pass (3900 m).

After a good breakfast in the homestay, you will move towards Ragachaur Pass from where you can get a majestic and fab view with many snowcapped mountains, green hills, rivers, and valley at the same frame of your camera/phone.

From Ragachaur Pass, you with trekking team of Himalayan Trekkers will descend down to Gurja Khani (2,650m) for overnight.

Day 11: Trek to Lulang
6-7 hrs
Max Altitude: 2,450 m

With delicious local breakfast and tasty tea in the morning, you will begin today's portion of a walk which will lead you to an amazing small settlement called Lulang.

By crossing small rivers, farmlands, woods, and villages, you will reach Lulang where locals will welcome you with their smile into there home for night halt.

Day 12: Trek to Darbang & drive to Pokhara
3 hrs trek & 5-6 hrs drive
Max Altitude: 827 m

Today is the last day of the trek as you will be leaving this amazing destination with bag full good memories and pictures only.

After breakfast, you will trek down to Darbang where your private vehicle will be stand by to pick you up and then drive to Pokhara. After arriving at Pokhara free on your own.

Pokhara is also known as the city of lake paradise where you can enjoy your free time by exploring around lakeside, enjoying drinks in a bar and visit the massage and spa centers.

Overnight at Pokhara.

Day 13: Full-day Pokhara tour
Max Altitude: 827 m

Today you will be exploring the beautiful city, Pokhara.

You will be visiting world peace pagoda, Tibetan refugee camp, Davis fall, Mountain museum, Talbarahi temple (Island temple). You can also visit markets for souvenirs and goods to remember this beautiful journey and destination.

Overnight.

Day 14: Scenic flight /drive back to Kathmandu
30 mins flight/ 6-7 hrs drive
Max Altitude: 1,350 m

Today either you can fly to Kathmandu, which will be 30 minutes worthy flight, where you can see the changing natural vegetation with Himalayan Range or you can drive from Pokhara.

The drive will be scenic and you will get the opportunity to experience the highway of Nepal.

After arriving free on your own. In the evening, you will be part of farewell dinner with the team of Himalayan Trekkers where you will discuss your trekking experiences and share your reviews and suggestion.

Overnight.

You can depart from Kathmandu to your home country or extend the trip and head for another trip within or outside Nepal.

In general, we arrange a 3* Standard Category Accommodations with all facilities in cities. If available, you can opt for a more budget-friendly option or upgrade to a more luxurious hotel by paying a little extra.

Although all places during your trek do not have all modern facilities (especially at higher altitudes), we ensure that it is arranged safely and comfortably. Mostly hygienic and safe tea houses / local lodges/homestays are arranged & please feel free to personalize according to your preference.

If your travel schedule includes camping or if you choose to experience it, a correct campsite will be determined in advance and everything will be taken care of. If required, we also provide equipment such as a tent, cookware, etc. Check the equipment lists and equipment lists for more information.

Meals

Breakfast is usually included with your accommodation within the costs. Meals in the city must be paid separately. Often in the cities, you can choose from many different cuisines and varied food services. We can always help you find the right place.

Remote areas don't have that many options, but hygienic and well-prepared food is always served. Moreover, most meals are included in the costs during your trek. We can help you make changes according to your preference and budget, but only if choices are available! Moreover, Himalayan Trekkers also organize Welcome of Farewell Dinners as a symbol of warm greetings.
