Everest View Trek Nepal & Bhutan Tour Overview

As many people love to combine Bhutan's trip with Nepal, keeping this in mind, Himalayan Trekkers present you with a unique package where you can get the best out of these two countries.

Everest View trek Nepal and Bhutan Tour is a 3 weeks tour program - a combination of trekking and tour in Nepal and Bhutan. This journey provides you with a unique understanding of culture, nature, the Himalayas, traditions, and lifestyles. You trek for 8 days in the Everest region, followed by a flight to magnificent Bhutan.

Everest View Trek is a shorter version of Everest Base Camp Trek and is also known as Everest Panoramic Trek, nevertheless, providing a full beautiful screenplay of panoramic Everest and surrounding snowcapped peaks in the background.

The journey on the Everest trail passes through the famous Sherpa people's homeland and offers views of the Himalayas ' most prominent peaks. Designed for individuals who want to get near Everest without climbing it, this 9 days high-altitude hike brings you through breathtaking scenery. Then we approach the Khumbu valley, a land of colossal, ice-capped peaks gleaming in the sunlight.

Since Sherpas mainly reside in the mountainous region of Nepal, it is also a perfect way to have some insights into their culture, traditions, food, & hospitality. This is a great chance to relish the entire beauty of the Everest region by spending a few days in Namche Bazar, Khumjung, and exploring the famous monastery of Tengboche.

The second half of the tour, i.e. the Bhutan Tour, mainly focuses on exploring the valleys of Thimphu, Paro, the beautiful Punakha, and Phobjikha Valleys. Bhutan, the land of the thunder dragon is one of the countries that has been preserving its ancient culture and tradition to date. Also, the people of Bhutan have set the best example in preserving their natural and cultural heritage. These legacies can be seen on manmade Dzong, Chhortens, palaces, as well as forests, and even the preservation of wildlife.

This short tour in Bhutan lets you experience the true essence of Bhutan’s tranquil highlands and stunning valleys with comforting hospitality. You will also have the chance to visit the farmhouse and engage with the villagers, as well as get a taste of rural Bhutanese life. A week in Bhutan provides ample opportunity to learn about the country from various perspectives.

So, if you are interested to explore these two Himalayan nations, contact us for the best and excellent service.

Note: During severe weather conditions, the Kathmandu-Lukla-Kathmandu flight can be frequently delayed by a few hours or even canceled for one, two, or more days. Even in the best of seasons, such circumstances can arise. As a result, you should expect long waits at Kathmandu or Lukla airports in such instances, as this can occur at the start or finish of the trek, or even both! We will do everything possible to avoid such delays and will book you on the next available aircraft.

Everest View Trek with Bhutan Tour Difficulty

Trekking can be challenging because of a variety of factors such as route conditions, trek distance, duration, altitude, and weather. Despite the fact that Everest View Trek is a relatively easy trip, you may find it challenging in some areas. The very second trek from Lukla to Namche Bazaar is somewhat difficult because the path is steep and slippery. The trek takes 5 to 8 hours every day of walking covering an average of 500 meters distance. However, this walk is not as challenging as it appears if you are physically fit and mentally strong. There are a few hard hills to climb, but the paths are zigzagged to make it easier, and there is plenty of time to sit and talk. This journey will be over 3,500 meters above sea level. At this elevation, the chances of suffering altitude sickness begin to increase. However, to avoid this as much as possible, we have arranged the itinerary to provide you with adequate time to acclimate.

The Bhutan tour is not difficult at all. The only hard point during this trip is the 3-4 hours hike up to the Taktsang Monastery at 3120 meters. And, if you can accomplish the high-altitude Everest View Trek, why can’t you do this as well? Right?

In conclusion, the Everest View Trek in Nepal with Bhutan tour is a moderate journey to the Himalayan region offering a lifetime experience.

Best Time for Everest View Trek with Bhutan Tour

The climates of Nepal and Bhutan are similar, ranging from high mountains to lowland sub-tropical plains and jungles. Both nations have comparable climates and are best visited during the same season.

Pre and post-monsoon, which are spring (March-May) and autumn (October – November), respectively, are the two main reasons for all the treks in Nepal and Bhutan including Everest View Trek and Taktsang Monastery Hike. The air is pure and fresh and the skies are clear during this period are clear offering the best vistas of the surrounding Himalayas and the valleys.

Trekking is feasible from December to February, which is an excellent time to avoid the crowds, but be prepared for colder weather. The rainy season runs from June to August, and we don't recommend trekking during this time because the trails will be slick and sloppy and most of the time, the views will be covered with clouds and fogs.

In Nepal: Himalayan Trekkers provide the best and most comfortable 3-star standard category accommodations on a Twin/Double sharing basis in Kathmandu.  However, everything you might want is available in these cities, from opulent 5-star resorts to comfortable hotels, and affordable guesthouses to lodges and homestays.

During your trekking periods, you will be mostly staying at the local teahouses on a twin-sharing basis. As we progress towards Tengboche, a good enough number of teahouses are available.

They may be able to accommodate you for a small fee if you request a single room, but trekkers in higher altitude places must stay in dormitories or shared rooms. Because tea houses and lodges are located at high altitudes, single room services may not always be available.

Meals During Everest View Trek and Bhutan Tour

In Nepal: Authentic Nepalese cuisine, as well as more popular international cuisine, are available throughout our Everest View Trek (Tibetan, Continental, Italian, Indian, etc.). Breakfast and dinner will be served in teahouses or from a lodge menu where we will be staying the night, while lunch will be served on the way to the next location. During the trek, all meals will be supplied, however, only breakfast will be accessible in Kathmandu.

In Bhutan: All three meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner) along with tea/coffee are included in the package cost. The Bhutanese Government made it mandatory to purchase the particular standard package included with meals and other services. In addition, we will be providing you with bottled/mineral water every day during your stay in Bhutan.

Guests will also be treated to a welcome or farewell dinner in Kathmandu.

Note: In case you want to upgrade the room services or have a single supplement, it can be managed at an extra cost in both countries. However, we should be notified prior to the bookings of the trip.
