Itinerary

Arrival on: Kathmandu, Departure from: Kathmandu

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu.

You are heartily welcome in the beautiful country, Nepal. We meet at the airport and drop you at your hotel. You check-in at the hotel, freshen up and spend overnight at the hotel.

Accommodation: 3 Star Hotel in Kathmandu

Day 2

Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2886 m) and trek to Phakding (2640 m).

You take an early flight to Lukla, which will take about half an hour. After reaching Lukla, you start your trek to Phakding, which will take about 3 hours of walk. You walk by the bank of Dudh Koshi River. Stay overnight at a guest house after you reach Phakding.

Accommodation: Hotel/Lodges Estimated Walking Distance: 30 min flight and 3 hrs hike

Day 3

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m).

After breakfast, you start your trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar. The trek will take you about 5 hours to reach Namche, which is located at a high altitude. Spend overnight at a hotel..

Day 4

A day for rest at Namche Bazaar (3440m) for acclimatization and explore around.

Today is a rest day for you at Namche Bazaar, in order to help your body acclimatize with such high altitude. Namche Bazaar is a beautiful village with almost every facility available. You will be surprised to see how the Sherpa people here have managed to sustain their life as well as by providing every basic facility to the trekkers. Apart from the facilities you get, you get a closer view of many snow-capped mountains such as Mt. Everest, Thamserku, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Tawche, and Kwangde.

Day 5

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3867m).

After breakfast, you start your walk to Tengboche passing through forests, Mani stone walls, beautiful villages with stone walls, an amazing view of the Mountains. Once you reach Tengboche, you stay overnight at the best available guest house.

Day 6

Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4260m).

With the beautiful scenic Mountain View, you start your trek towards Dingboche. On your way, you can see the barley, buckwheat and potato field. You can explore the village, enjoy a hot cup of coffee or local tea. Stay overnight at a tea house.

Day 7

Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4930m).

Today you will trek from Dingboche to Lobuche. on the way, you will see many prayers flag, Mani walls, Stupas and the mesmerizing view of Mt. Tawache, Ama Dablam, Pokalde, Kongma-Tse, and Nuptse. You will take rest at a guest house or explore the village once you reach Lobuche.

Accommodation: Tea house/guest house Estimated Walking Distance: 5-6 hrs

Day 8

Trek from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5486m) via Gorakshep (5180m).

Finally, the day which you have awaited the most, trek to Everest Base Camp. Today the walking hour is a bit longer than previous days, i.e. 7 hours of a walk but it is worth walking. You reach to EBC via Gorakshep. Gorakshep is at an altitude of 5180 meters. The trail is a rocky path with the view of snow peaks, glaciers, and iceberg. Gorakshep is the original Base camp of Mt. Everest. You finally reach the Everest Base Camp.

Once you reach here you will be proud of yourself on conquering the Base Camp of the World's highest peak. The extraordinary and incredible view is an additional advantage in your journey to the Base Camp. Now, you will trek back to Gorakshep to spend the night at a tea house.

Day 9

Trek from Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5545m) and then to Pheriche (4243m).

Today you start your early morning trek to Kala Patthar to experience the stunning sunrise view on the mountains. You get to see the spectacular panoramic view of Mt. Everest, Pumori, Khumbutse, Nuptse, Lhotse, Lingtren, etc. The trek duration will be about 6 hours and you reach Pheriche to spend the night at a guest house.

Day 10

Trek from Pheriche to Tengboche (3867 m).

Your trek begins from Pheriche and ends at Tengboche. You will pass through the lush green forest, beautiful rivers, uniquely built monasteries and nonetheless the background view of Mt. Ama Dablam. You will stay overnight at a guest house in Tengboche.

Day 11

Trek from Tengboche to Namche Bazaar (3440 m).

You will trek back by the same route to Namche Bazaar from Tengboche. The trial now is mostly downhill, only a few parts are steeper. You will stay at a guest house in Namche Bazaar.

Accommodation: Hotel Estimated Walking Distance: 4-5 hrs

Day 12

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2886 m).

Today is the last day of your trek. You will trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla after breakfast. You will return by the same trail but the only difference is that you are taking back lots of awesome memories for a lifetime. The place looks even more beautiful as you are carrying back lots of reviving memories. Once you reach Lukla, you will stay overnight at a guest house.

Day 13

Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu & sightseeing in Kathmandu.

You will fly back to Kathmandu leaving the Solukhumbu district. The flight duration is about 30 minutes. We Himalayan trekkers team would be extremely glad to assist you for your achievement on reaching the Everest Base Camp. We really hope you had a heart-warming experience with us and in Nepal. After a short break spending in a hotel, sightseeing to some UNESCO listed heritage sites and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 14

Final departure

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel to catch your scheduled flight to the Airport with an assessment of Himalayan trekkers representative. Looking for your words on us and waiting for you for next leisure/vacation. Have a safe journey.
