The Himalayas in itself is impressive enough to have attracted worldwide attention and curiosity since the beginning of the 20th century but Mount Everest has always been its crown prince. Brave souls like Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay have accentuated its fame after conquering it.
So, the Everest base camp has been the most desirable destination for tourists and hikers alike, as it allows ordinary people to witness the highest structure on Earth from close proximity.
Everest Base Camp Trek - a 14 Days trek is a perfect timeframe to reach the base camp. Lying at the Solukhumbu district of Khumbu region within the Sagarmatha National Park, this trek is the most popular trekking amongst trekkers due to the sheer popularity of Mt. Everest itself.
The trek is an awe-inspiring experience to view Mt. Everest from an optimally preferred distance and has quite an extraordinary feeling. Kala Patthar (black rock) is at an elevation of 5545 meters & the most famous vantage point to view the gigantic Everest and relish it's empowering glory.
Though Mt. Everest is the most alluring aspect for this trek, none the less, other famous peaks like Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lobuche, Mt Tawache, etc that also rise high touching the skies in the vicinity, could be an extra treat to your eyes.
Tengboche monastery is another vantage point for up-close views of other mountains of the Everest region. Namche Bazzar is also quite famous and is the gateway to the Everest.
A strong presence of Buddhism can be felt in most of the places on your trek route. With the colorful prayer flags dancing with the flow of gentle to temperate winds, stupas, monasteries, mani stones on the trekking trails reflect the presence of strong culture within the region.
The terrain is also quite unique surrounded by alpine forests, a 100% Sherpa village with Sherpas and their simplicity within this harsh environment of mother nature are some noticeable features on hike to the Everest Base Camp.

From Lobuche, you finally trek to our dream destination - the Base Camp of Everest. You then ascend further to Kala Patthar passing through Gorakshep.
