If you like dining in style and want to trek luxuriously with a stunning panoramic view of the Himalayas in the backdrop, Himalayan Trekkers provides you with the Everest Luxury Lodge Trek. It includes staying in quintessential lodges all around the Everest Region.
Experience this one-of-a-kind trek designed solely for comfort, along with breathtaking views of multiple 8000m peaks visible around the region.
In a place where hot water is more of a feature than an amenity, you will experience Nepal’s finest trek with spacious rooms with attached bathrooms. Heated rooms, single supplement bedrooms, and much more are provided for an enjoyable experience.
The lodges are based on the Yeti Mountain Home chain at Lukla, Phakding, Namche Bazaar, Thame, and Kongde and are designed to deliver the best service. This package caters to finer hotels and better accommodations at locations in Kathmandu and Khumbu, like Phakding, Lukla, and Namche Bazaar.
Why Everest Luxury Lodge Trek?
The features of this Everest Luxury trek, besides staying in luxury lodges, include stunning views of the Cho Oyu, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam, & a noble trail along the valley's west side to Kongde. All in all, we will spend 9 days experiencing the Khumbu region, home to Mount Everest.
We even provide an optional day hike itinerary to Farak Ri for those seeking a more sprawling view of the Khumbu Valley. One can expect lovely hiking conditions on this relatively simple Himalayan trek that barely touches 5,000m.
The highest altitude we will rest at is 4250 meters, a modest elevation by Himalayan standards, and we don’t expect any accompanying altitude sickness issues on this hike. However, please note that proceeding above the 3000-meter elevation mark takes its toll on the body as compared to walking at lower elevations.
Most of the paths we will follow are well traversed by Sherpas and yaks, the former of which tend to care for some of these paths. Considering hikers will be required to walk between 3 and 4 hours every day for about a week, this Everest luxury trek is intended for hiking at a moderate pace.
Best Season for Everest Luxury Lodge Trek
Everest treks are best experienced during the two peak seasons. Spring and autumn are the high seasons for most journeys in the Khumbu region.
Spring offers the most beautiful views of lush forests and blooming life. Rhododendron and other wild flowers blossom in full during Spring. As such, it’s the best time to enjoy nature’s bliss in the Himalayas.
Autumn brings crisp air and open skies. The monsoon rain washes away the dust dropped on the mountains. Fall offers the clearest view of the Everest and other peaks. As such, it is the season when trekkers come for the clear mountain views.
Season to avoid
Summer/monsoon and winter are the seasons to avoid trekking in the Everest region. The rainy season makes the trail wet and slippery. Worse off, you get leeches all over the trail. Then there’s also the risk of landslides during heavy rainfall.
Winter brings bitterly cold temperatures to the Himalayas. While true during winter, you can get a clear view, but snow can and will affect the trip. As the higher trails of Thame or Kongde are blocked with snow.
Everest Luxury Lodge Trekking Route
Everest Luxury Lodge trek starts with your arrival in Kathmandu. Then we move to Lukla via a scenic flight and trek to Phakding. Then we move to Namche Bazaar, where we stay for one more day to acclimatize. We have the option to hike up to Khunde Village.
Our next trip will be to Thame, where we will stay for two days. After this, we move towards Kongde. The next day, we can either rest in the lodge or go climb up to Farak Ri Peak.
After Farak Ri, we move down to Pakhding, then we move to Lukla. The next day, we move back to Kathmandu on a flight with Himalayan views. We have a free day, where you can travel around and buy any keepsake you want. And next, we transport you to the airport from your hotel.

Although not all places on the route have all the modern facilities, we will arrange safe, comfortable, and luxurious accommodation.
In Lukla and above, you may not get the tag of a star hotel, but we assure you of getting all the facilities that you expect in a star hotel, according to the Himalayan standards.
