Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek Overview

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is one of the most popular trek destinations of the Annapurna Region that lies roughly around at the altitude of 2,874 meters (9429 feet) within the Annapurna Conservation Area (ACA) of northern-central Nepal in Myagdi district, Dhaulagiri zone.

Poon Hill View Point is considered one of the lofty mountain viewpoints and is the most amazing one in the Himalayan Region. Furthermore, this Ghorepani Poon Hill trek is the best for a beginner to get a grip on the best views of the sun rising over the Annapurna mountain range which is exceptionally beautiful.

The Poon Hill trek itinerary takes you through ancient pathways that connect local settlements, passing through rhododendron forests and rice paddies while taking in vistas of snow-capped mountains.

You climb through little mountain settlements like Ghorepani, Ulleri, and Ghandruk, which look like they came straight off of a postcard. This trekking route has a variety of guest houses and lodges where trekkers and climbers can stay and eat while walking to the summit of adjacent Poon Hill (3,210 meters/10,531 feet) to see the sunrise and lovely snow-capped peaks.

This trekking destination is an excellent introduction to the Himalayas for even experienced trekkers, especially if time is limited. The lodging along this well-traveled route is excellent, and the menus are not disappointing. The mountains, of course, never fail to wow with their picturesque splendor.

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek Difficulty

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is regarded as an introduction to the Annapurna Region's main trekking attractions. It is one of Nepal's easiest treks, if not the easiest. This trip is considered family-friendly, and unlike other Nepalese trekking routes, you may do it in a short amount of time.

Even though the Poon Hill Trek is considered easy, hikers and trekkers should be in good physical condition. After all, you're still trekking across Nepal's Himalayas.

Best Season do Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek

Trekkers can do trekking in Nepal all days and seasons of the year. Every day and time will offer the unique beauty of nature to the visitors.

In Nepal, spring is one of the greatest seasons for trekking. The weather is expected to be pleasant and sunny. The red and white rhododendrons, as well as other vivid flowers, can be seen on the trekking routes. Trekkers are treated to a clear and breathtaking sight of Mount Massive and the surrounding environment.

Winter is the ideal season for those seeking quiet on their treks. The trail will be significantly quieter than it is during other seasons. On the trekking paths, you can obtain a spectacular glimpse of the snowcapped mountains and the gleaming white snow. It will be pretty chilly, but the winter trekking experience is incredible.

Summer is accompanied by a monsoon. That implies torrential rains and scorching temperatures. Because of the rain, the trails will be a little sloppy and muddy during the summer, and sunny days will be extremely hot. Trekkers should exercise caution on the trail, but this season offers some of the most spectacular views of the Massif Mountains, with the best views occurring after the rain has stopped.

Autumn is another fantastic time to go trekking in Nepal's Annapurna Region or any other Himalayan region. The majority of trekkers prefer this season to go trekking because of the breathtaking views of the mountains and lush foliage of nature combined with a clear blue sky. Trekking is best done during this time.

Great trip!

Raj picked us up at the airport, he knows his stuff, has been in the game for a long time. The tour guide Dipak, and the porter (also named Dipak, ha ha) were both great, we had a good laugh on the trip, a lot of fun, they were genuinely caring and kind to us. It was nice to enjoy some camaraderie with them. All in all, it was a great trek, we went to Annapurna. Shame about the weather but that can't be helped. I'd happily recommend this company and Raj to anyone who wanted to go to Nepal.

Great experience in Nepal

Our trip to Nepal was organized by Adventure Mission Nepal and Raj Kumar Dhamala. We've been chatting with Raj several month before the trip, he was always helpful and provided all the information we needed about the future trip. After we arrived in Kathmandu, we hardly ever needed to make any decisions or preparations by ourselves - everything was organized very carefully and the trip went very smoothly. We did Ghorepani-Poon Hill trek, and then travelled to Lumbini and Chitwan National Park, which seems to be a perfect itinerary to see both mountains and jungle, and also do some cultural sightseeing. We enjoyed the trip a lot. We are thinking about coming back to do a longer trek, like ABC or Annapurna Circuit, with Raj.

Awesome Poonhill Trek

Planning for trekking in Nepal from Bulgaria is itself a challenge and curiosity but we fortunately came through Himalayan Trekkers who made our dream come true. If you are also planning to come to Nepal for a trip then without searching for any agencies, believe me you can directly contact to Himalayan Trekkers as they are such trustworthy and knowledgeable team. Likewise, me along with my girlfriend did Poonhill trek in Nepal. After the car dropped us from Pokhara, We started our trek from Ullari by climbing over 3000 stone paved stairs. At first day it was pretty tiring and inhabitual but after we went to our hotel and got refreshed, all the tiredness was vanished. Such hospitality of the locals and the mesmerizing view of the place made us very excited and enthralled. Thank you guys for organizing such an amazing trip beyond our expectations. This trip and the time spent with you (Raj) is always going to be memorable and wonderful lifetime experience.
