The mountains are almost contiguous with Dorje Lakpa (6,966 m) right of Gosaithan.

This 1-hour long flight takes off and ends at Kathmandu. As the Plane flies further east, the mountains get even more thick and clear.

You will witness the spectacular panoramas of various peaks like Choba - Bhamare (5,933 m), Gauri Shankar (7,134 m), Melungtse (7,023 m), Chugimago (6,927 m), Karyolung (6,511 m), Langtang Lirung (7,234 m), Makalu (8,463 m), Ganesh (7,429 m), Pumori (7,161 m), Nuptse (7,855 m), and many more.

Best Season For Everest Sightseeing

The best time for an Everest flight excursion is in winter. The sharp and clear views of mountains and landscapes with clear skies are the reason why the winter months from December to February are considered best. Apart from that, spring also has a very appealing green forest teeming with blossoming flowers and clear skies.

Fall is also very popular for this experience due to the clear and glowing views. The unsteady weather and foggy days during summer month is the reason why it is not considered the best time. However, you can go during any summer season but the views might not be at their best.

What's More on this Tour

One would be taking this exotic flight journey on a plane with 18 seats. The mountain flight to Everest begins as the flight takes off from the domestic airport at Kathmandu. The climate of the mountainous region can be unstable and if your flight is to be canceled because of it, we can reschedule your next possible flight or refund your money.

Enjoy this 1-hour flight with a guaranteed window seat so that you won’t miss any of it.
