• The temperature ranges from 12 to 25 degrees during the day and drops as low as 8 degrees during the night.

• End of December and throughout January, it’s so cold that the lakes and even some trails are frozen. This time of the year, many tea houses and guest houses at higher altitudes are likely to be closed.
