Annapurna Royal Trek Overview
The Annapurna Royal Trek goes around in the backdrop of the Annapurna region with a superb view of the mountains such as Annapurna, fishtail, and Manaslu.
This short trek of 8 days got its name - 'Royal' because Prince Charles of England with his 90 other fellow members had explored this route in the year 1981.
This trek starts from Kalikastan, about half an hour drive from Pokhara and this trail follows beautiful Gurung settlements, small hamlets, terraced farms and lush green forests.
This route is very easy and suitable for age groups, ideal for travelers who have a time restrictions. We hike through Gurung settlements, experience their hospitality with occasional ascents and descents on our trail.The maximum altitude we gain is mere 1730 m at Syaglung.
The trek ends after a day of the walk at Begnas lake, situated about 30 Km from the city of Pokhara.
