Marshyangdi River Rafting Overview

Marshyangdi River is also renowned as the “Ragging River” in Nepal. Globally, it is considered as one of the paramount whitewater runs.

Marshyangdi River begins from the convergence of two Himalayan rivers i.e. Jharsang River and Khangsar River.

As of 1996, rafting in Marshyangdi river was opened for public.

Marshyangdi River Rafting has the most thrilling grade IV and V rapids and is one of the most excellent grades IV Kayaking rivers in the world with its uninterrupted thrilling whitewater with superb panoramic background.

Rafting in this river requires full assurances from the crew member and rafting guide. Unlike the Sunkoshi and Karnali River, Marshyangdi River Rafting is really special and much more technical skill is required due to the high rapids of the water.

This river also demands a quick response from the crew members and should be alert. All in all, Marshyangdi River Rafting is perfect for those adventure lovers who seek immense and acute rafting experience and previous experience is a must.
