Chitwan National Park Tour Overview
Love forests and want to spend some time in the wild?
If so, Chitwan National Park is a perfect destination for you. The first national park of Nepal and also the UNESCO World Heritage Site (since 1984), Chitwan National Park is located in the lowlands of the south-central region of Nepal occupying an area of 359 square miles.
Being home to the Bengal tigers, one-horned rhino, clouded leopards, wild elephants, gaurs, golden jackals, jungle cats, small Indian civets, and a myriad of other wild animals, Chitwan has become a hotspot for adventure lovers.
There are 64 species of known mammals, 100 species of amphibians, as well as 265 species of birds, and enjoying the jungle safari into the depths of the woods either by jeep or back riding in the elephant at the national park could be a nice worthy experience.
This Chitwan National park tour of 6 nights and 7 days also includes a canoe ride, by which you can also see crocodiles basking in the sun and rhino's drinking water.
The canoe ride ends near the Elephant breeding center where you also get to observe adults as well as some newborns elephants. Next, we will participate in the elephant back safari or jeep which is usually around 1.5 to 2 hours long.
