Beijing to Lhasa Tour Overview

China Tibet Tour is one such journey where you become a part of a story, a story dipped in history, sprinkled with adventure and coated with excitement. It is said that often the journey is more important than a destination because journeys create memories. And those memories are remembered all through our lives. We often forget the destination, but remember the travel.

As you get to see some of the most famous sites of the region as part of the itinerary, you realize the beauty of the place. And you can board on the fastest and the highest railways in the world. Catch the speeding Bullet Train from Beijing to Shanghai before gliding through the Himalaya on the Tibet Sky Train from Lhasa to Xian. The Great Rail Journey is not just for train enthusiasts, but for anyone who wants an adventure!

From the Forbidden City and Great Wall, you board the first class in the Bullet Train which will take you to ultra-modern Shanghai and then you move on to a Giant Panda reserve and the historic city of Chengdu. Next, you fly to the roof of the world in Lhasa Valley and visit the famous Potala Palace, the Jokhang and many other highlights including Yamdrok Tso Lake, high in the Himalaya. And then it is a non-stop adventure to Qinghai Plateau, traveling on the highest railway in the world before arriving back in central China and the ancient capital of Xian. And as you stand for a breather, you realize that you had the opportunity of having two most exciting train journeys in the world. But all great journeys begin with a plan, and then you remember day 1 of your adventure.
