Nepal Reopening for Trekking from 17 October

September 16, 2020

The Government of Nepal has officially announced to diminish the lockdown in Nepal that had been happening strictly and smoothly from the 23rd of March 2020, and reopen the domestic and international transportation, hotels, restaurants, and other sectors with government authorized health, security, and travel protocols. As per the decision made by the Government of Nepal on 14th September, Monday, all the tourism activities including tours, treks and mountaineering will be resumed from the 17th of October to all the domestic and international travelers, which are halted for the time being due to the gradual increment of the COVID-19.

We all are aware that the COVID-19, that started from the beginning of 2020 from Wuhan City of China and gradually spread in most of the part of the world including Nepal. It slowly wedged a huge negative impact on the global economy and social and cultural lifestyle of the people. After a long time of monotonous living, we believe that the decision of the Nepal Government of reopening the Nepal Tourism for the International Travelers will surely be helpful for the enthusiastic travelers who would want nothing more than enjoying the scenic destination and fresh natural breeze, and there is no doubt that the popular destinations blessed by nature in Nepal like Annapurna, Everest, Pokhara, Lumbini, Dolpo, Langtang, and many others will clear your mind and provide a wonderful bliss.

Himalayan Trekkers is very eager to welcome you to Nepal and make sure you enjoy your time in nature following the safety and travel protocols.
