If you've finished with the peaks below 6000m and want to try something higher and more challenging, you may want to aim for Taboche Peak Climbing. This climbing experience will definitely make your cheeks blush.
Climbing the mountain requires a lot of guts along with experienced skills to scale steep slopes of piercing rocks and thick, dense ice. This journey can last about a month and fluctuates between 2600 m and 6500 m in altitude.
Taboche Peak (6501m) is located just above the small villages of Dingboche and Pheriche, while directly overlooking the famous Ama Dablam mountain.
As always in the Everest region, the journey starts Lukla and make way to Phakding. From here you pass villages, the heart of the Khumbu region in Namche Bazaar. You will get good food, acclimatize and continue until you reach Pheriche village. After reaching the base camp resting at 5200m, collect your energy while your body takes care of acclimatization. Following is the strenuous journey of more than 10 days to reach the top that is extremely stubborn and has given in to a handful of climbers.
Along the way, you will visit the heart and soul of Khumbu through its villages of multi-ethnic, hardworking and warm people, dense pine forests, oaks and vegetation filled with rare flowers. You will also encounter wild animals that are not very common in the lowlands. One can witness the beautiful snowy mountains, the surroundings and the hospitality of Sherpa people staying here.
