Himalayan Trekkers promises to manage the best, most comfortable and preferred accommodation.

In general we arrange a 3-star hotel with all facilities in cities. If available, you can opt for a more budget-friendly option or upgrade to a more luxurious hotel by paying a little extra.

Although all places during your trek do not have all modern facilities (especially at higher altitudes), we ensure that it is arranged safely and comfortably. Mostly hygienic and safe tea houses / local lodges / home stays are arranged & please feel free to personalize according to your preference.

If your travel schedule includes camping or if you choose to experience it, a correct campsite will be determined in advance and everything will be taken care of. If required, we also provide equipment such as a tent, cookware, etc. Check the equipment lists and equipment lists for more information.

Breakfast is usually included with your B&B accommodation within the costs. Meals in the city must be paid separately. Often in the cities, you can choose from many different cuisines and varied food services. We can always help you find the right place.

Remote areas don't have that many options, but hygienic and well-prepared food is always served. Moreover, most meals are included in the costs during your trek. We can help you make changes according to your preference and budget, but only if choices are available! Moreover, Himalayan Trekkers also organizes Welcome of Farewell Dinners as a symbol of warm greetings.

Follow the detailed route description or itinerary for more information. We are always there to help you to your heart's content.

Gears required for the trek vary upon destination and season. Trekking shoes, down jacket, sleeping bag, hiking poles are the essential ones.

A comprehensive list of gear for all activites is listed on our dedicated page of Complete Gear List For Trekking and Climbing

A Trip I'll Never Forget for all the Right Reasons

We went on a 5 day trip to Nepal in early December and were greeted with the friendliest of people. We did two days of trekking to Chisopani and Nargarkot and spent the rest of our time in Kathmandu and the Thamel area. We felt extremely safe the whole time thanks to the assistance of our fantastic guides BK (our trekking guide), Madhav (our cultural guide) and our driver. Seeing the Himalaya mountains was very special, beautiful and breathtaking. But I think I liked the cultural part of Nepal best. I had not expected such a wealth of history and monumental sights.

Huge thank you to Raj who accommodated our every request. It was certainly a trip I'll never forget and wouldn't hesitate going back there in the future.

Trek in Kathmandu Valley

I've used to advice of Raj, the managing director of Himalayan Trekkers, a Nepalese company, for a 3-day trek in the Kathmandu Valley. Raj was super friendly, answered every of my questions, offered help, welcomed me at the airport. He was very kind and very much customer service oriented. I even met his two lovely daughters and we visited a temple together.

I've done the trek "Chisapani - Nagarkot - Dhulikel" during 3 days. I wouldn't recommand to sleep in Chisapani, there is nothing left there after the earthquake (I feel very sad writing this for the lovely people who still own the only tea house there, they lost their small village). Especially if you are alone, bring a book to read. The weather wasn't good the first day so I didn't get to see the landscape, but as we went closer to Nagarkot the landscapes were beautiful. Very enjoyable. I also walked in small village, ate at some habitants' house and it was very typical and local. Fresh food from their gardens!
Kathmandu Valley might not the most impressive place in Nepal, with all the amazing treks that the country has to offer. But for someone who has short time and must stay around Kathmandu, I definitely recommand. Very much enjoyable.

I would also recommand Raj and my private guide was also very good and helpful. Nepal was wonderful with lovely people. A must do !!!

Traveled to Nepal for 5 days in December. We did two days of trekking to Chisopani and Nargarkot and the rest in Kathmandu and Thamel area. We had an amazing time with the friendliest and warmest of guides. Huge thanks to Raj for all his hard work accommodating every request we had...... and to BK our trekking guide for keeping us on the right track!!!.......and to Madhav, our cultural guide who was very insightful and a great company. All of them made our trip unforgettable and went above and beyond for us in every way possible. We can't wait to go back to beautiful Nepal and couldn't recommend them enough to anyone considering visiting Nepal for what ever the reason.
