Best time for Sundarijal Chisapani Nagarkot Hike

Spring and autumn are the king seasons for any hike and trek in Nepal because of pleasant weather, clear skies, and routes in the best condition. However, some hikes and treks can be done in the summer/monsoon and winter seasons too. Likewise, spring which starts in mid-march and ends in May, and autumn from mid-September to November is considered to be the peak season for the Sundarijal Chisapani Nagarkot Hike. But, this short hike can be done any time of the year. Only monsoon could be challenging but not impossible.

These villages located on the outskirts of the capital are hugely covered with red Rhododendrons and other flowering blooms in spring with fresh and cold water streams. The skies are blue and clear with the wonderful Himalayas and surrounding visibility.

Autumn welcomes perfect post-monsoon Himalayan vistas, dense forests, and a fresh environment. The farms are filled with rice paddy ready to be harvested and the whole country gets ready to greet the biggest festivals of Nepal during this time. The hiking routes are perfectly stated and are filled with happy trekkers and hikers during spring and summer.

Monsoon and winter are also options for those adventure seekers who are daring. The route is always open. But be sure to face wet slippery routes, rainy days, intriguing leeches, big streams, and wild rivers in the monsoon. Winter is just cold. The chances of snowfall are very light on this route.

Based on the hikers’ interests and requirements, Himalayan Trekkers can organize the journey any time of the year.
