Nepal Village Home Stay trip begins with a day’s home-stay in the Kapan village of Kathmandu Valley.

A significant trait of the trip is home-stay at the Sirubari village, possibly the trendy home-stay village, which will provide you a genuine flavor of Nepali method of village existence...Tough the artistic, historical and political center of Nepal, there are several villages within the valley that still protect their ancient cultural performance.

The trip aspires to give equally the artistic and natural experience to the mountain culture. Kathmandu itself has its individual trademark of artistic life property a significantly elevated numeral of places predictable by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites and surrounds three medieval cities famed for their arts and architectures- Kathmandu, Patan, and Bhaktapur.

From Kathmandu, we move to Pokhara, the Lake City of Nepal. Then we expend a day at the charming city of Tansen in the knee of Srinagar Hills.

The next few days will be very pleasant to explore the mountain village of Sirubari. The tour includes some of the most magnificent natural and cultural purposes of Nepal and you will take pleasure in the corporation of dozens of waterfalls and mountains, plants and animals as well as rural villages sprawled over the mountains cultures.

Itinerary in Details

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Max Altitude: 1,350 m

On the first day of this trip, you will be received by a representative of Himalayan Trekkers from the airport at Kathmandu who will direct you to your hotel.

(optional stay at Kopan homestay is also available).

Once the check-in formalities are over, it is up to you as to how you want to spend the day. Take rest or go out into the streets of Kathmandu for a taste of their local culture.

Accommodation: 3 star hotel in KTM

Day 2: Visit Kopan monastery & scenic drive to Pokhara

🕑 6-7 hrs

Max Altitude: 827 m

Early morning visit Kopan Monastery and observe the activities & prayers of the monks. After delicious breakfast, scenic drive to Pokhara- a city of Lake paradise.

Being at Pokhara, it's on you how you want to spend the remaining time of the day.

Day 3: Scenic drive & short walk to Sirubari village

Max Altitude: 1,700 m

With a delicious breakfast, you will enjoy a scenic drive to Sirubari village.

Upon arriving at the village, you will be welcomed by the villages and take you to the shelter where you will enjoy night halt.

Day 4: Explore village

Max Altitude: 1,700 m

Today you will hike to Tumro for majestic sunrise with mountains on the backdrop. After that, you will return back to the home where you spend the amazing night.

In the day time, you will visit the Sirubari village, school, farmlands with small chit chat with locals. In the evening you will witness the cultural program and enjoy the delicious dinner with the family.

Day 5: Return to Pokhara & free day

🕑 3 hrs

Max Altitude: 827 m

Enjoying breakfast with family members of homestay, you will be given a warm farewell and then you will be returning back to the Pokhara.

You can enjoy sightseeing, be part of the adventure, and other interesting activities you love to do as it is a great destination to enjoy.

Day 6: Scenic drive to Tansen, Palpa & explore

Max Altitude: 1,350 m

Today, you will be visiting Palpa, another famous destination for a tour within domestic as well as international travelers. With breakfast, you will enjoy a scenic drive to Palpa.

At Palpa, you will explore Tansen Bazar, famous hillside, temple, palace. You will enjoy the night halt in a homestay.

Day 7: Visit Rani Mahal & drive to Chitwan National Park

🕑 5-6 hrs

Max Altitude: 415 m

Today you will explore the Rani Mahal (Taj Mahal of Nepal) which is located in the river-bank of Kali-Gandaki river. After exploring this lovely palace, you will enjoy a scenic drive to Chitwan National park.

You can enjoy the sunset and other village tours after arriving at this lovely place.

Day 8: Jungle activities & explore Tharu village

Max Altitude: 415 m

Today you will be fully involved in Jungle activities. You will be part of a jungle tour, river tour in a boat, where you will observe lots of wild creatures and floras. Then you can also enjoy elephant sower which is a very popular activity of this destination.

In the evening you will be taking part in Tharu cultural show and will also explore Tharu village.

Day 9: Return to Kathmandu

Max Altitude: 1,350 m

After enjoying breakfast, you will be driven back to Kathmandu. It's on you how you desire to spend the remaining time at Kathmandu. You can visit the local market, Kathmandu durbar square.

In the evening, you will join the Himalayan Trekkers family for farewell dinner where you will discuss your trip.

Day 10: Final departure

Generally, in cities like Kathmandu, we arrange basic three-star facilities. If available, you can opt for a more budget-friendly option or upgrade to a more luxurious hotel by paying a little extra. Also, you can opt to stay at a homestay.

Although all the places might not have all the modern facilities, we will make sure to arrange safe and comfortable accommodation. In general, hygienic and safe tea houses/local lodges/ home-stays with all the basic facilities are arranged. But you can, if possible, personalize according to your preference. 

Meals

Breakfast is usually included with your B&B Accommodation within the cost that is evident.

For other meals in the city, you would have to pay separately. Often in the cities, you can choose from many different cuisines and varied food services. We can always help you find the right place to fit your taste.

In more remote areas, usually, there are not many options. But you can always find hygienic and well-prepared food. Moreover, almost all the meals during the trek are included in the cost. We can help you make changes according to your preference and budget, but only if choices are available!

On top of that, Himalayan Trekkers also organizes Welcome and Farewell Dinners as a symbol of warm greetings.
