Nepal Bhutan India Tour - 17 days takes you to the serene nature as well as the awe-inspiring architectures made centuries ago. Throughout this tour, you get to visit and explore the Palace turned Heritage in India. In addition to the spellbinding architectures and buildings in history rich places of India, you also get to walk beside the serene lakes in Nepal, look at the some of the rare wildlife in their natural habitat, hike and tour at Paro valley from Tiger's Nest located at the altitude of 3120 meters.

This tour begins from Delhi, India. The second country we will explore is Bhutan. Our final stop is Nepal where we will explore Pokhara, Chitwan and some of the UNESCO world heritage sites of Kathmandu valley. This trip can be a perfect vacation getaway for your family or honeymoon trip. It is suitable for people within any age group and is fairly easy as there is no extreme condition or scenario.

We sightsee some popular offerings of Delhi, its busy markets, captivating buildings, famous street food etcetera. The places we visit in India are Delhi, Agra, Udaipur and Jaipur. All these places are dotted with the captivating history of India, intriguing forts and monuments. Be it the Red fort –a reminder of Mughal period – in Delhi or Taj Mahal built for love by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, the history and history representing relics of India will sweep you off your feet.

Bhutan

Bhutan is time and again listed as the happiest country. In Bhutan we visit some revered monasteries, green hills, mountain vistas etcetera. Bhutan is also referred as the land of Thunderbolt and has its fair share of monasteries, forts, valleys, hills, trekking regions and so much more. The incomparable serenity of Bhutan is bound to give you a Kaleidoscope of sceneries and experiences. Some of the most explored places in Bhutan with high number of tourist visitors are Punakha Dzong, Tiger’s Nest, Phobjikha valley, Gangtey monastery, Punakha Suspension bridge, Mo Chhu lake and the list goes on and on.

Nepal

Nepal is a small country with so many possibilities as it has a little of almost everything when it comes to nature and culture. Eclectic from the tallest mountains to serene lakes, diverse vegetation to numerous ethnic people, Nepal is a country you must visit at least once in your life.

In this tour, we explore 2 prime attractions of Nepal i.e. Chitwan and Pokhara.   We opt Chitwan to relish the beauty of Chitwan National Park for the experience of wild wildenerss. Noteably you see elephants, deer, one-horned rhino, royal bengal tiger, etc.

You can also visit the Elephant breeding center and see baby elephants. In addition to this, we will go to Pokhara which is very popular for spectacular waterfalls, marvelous lakes and subtle mountainous views.

Best Season

The best time preferred for Nepal Bhutan India tour is Autumn i.e. September, October and November, due to the appropriate weather conditions. Winter months (December, January and February) is also a good time for this tour if you don't mind a bit of cold breezes and lower temperature.

Though this trip is available anytime and you can take it throughout the year, we highly advise you to avoid Summer season (June, July, August) as much as possible due to soaring temperatures and rainfalls. Early spring is also a good time for this tour.

Day 1: Arrival at Delhi
1 Hour

Once you arrive at the International airport at Delhi, you are picked and transported by one of the members of Himalayan trekkers to a decent hotel via a private vehicle. After refreshing and resting for a while, you can decide if you want to rest or roam around local places in Delhi.

Day 2: Explore Delhi
1 Hour

Second day of tour we sightsee some of the major attractions of the capital city of India. Several enchanting forts, monuments and palaces are scattered all over Delhi. Some places we explore today are the reminder of Mughal reign i.e. Red fort, one of the largest and most popular mosques in India i.e. Jama Masjid, Humayun’s tomb etc.

Day 3: Drive to Agra from Delhi
4 Hrs Drive

We begin our day quite early and head towards Agra from Delhi which takes us about 4 hours. We will explore several places of Agra like the world-famous Taj Mahal, Agra fort, Fatehpur Sikri etcetera before returning back to our hotel where we will spend the third night of our tour.

Day 4: Drive to Jaipur from Agra
4 Hrs Drive

We commence quite early and head towards Jaipur from Agra. After about 4 hours, we will reach Jaipur. During our time in Jaipur we visit the palaces-turned-heritage like City Palace, Amber Fort, Nahargarh fort, Hawa Mahal etcetera. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 5: Drive to Udaipur from Jaipur
4 Hrs Drive

It takes us about 4 hours to go from Jaipur to Udaipur via private vehicle. While in Udaipur we visit some renowned and stunning tourist attractions like Lake Pichola, Fateh Sagar Lake, Eklingji temple etcetera. Pichola lake is situated at the heart of Udaipur and the vistas of this lake with the heritages and peripheral hills are bound to render one speechless. Eklingi temple is known for its incredible architecture and monuments. We will visit this temple dedicated to Shiva; the Hindu mythology god. Overnight stay in Udaipur

Day 6: Drive back to Delhi from Udaipur
8 - 9 Hrs Drive

Sixth day we drive back to Delhi from Udaipur. This is a long day and takes us about 9 hours. We will take breaks between the journey so that you won’t feel overwhelmed. We will stay last night in India at Delhi.

Day 7: Delhi to Bhutan: Fly via Paro International Airport (2250 m)
1 Hour

You will leave India and arrive at Paro, Bhutan. Upon your arrival in Paro International Airport, you are picked and escorted to the hotel room by one of our staff. After refreshing, you can either explore the peaceful Paro valley yourself or take leisure time.

Day 8: Explore Paro & Trek to the Tiger's Nest (3120 m) and drive Thimphu
5 Hrs Hike

Eight day of our trip We will trek to Tiger’s Nest; one of the major tourist attractions of Bhutan. It is also called Paro Taktsang. You will witness a few numbers of buildings and gompas perched on cliffs after trekking to an altitude of 3120 meters. If you can trek, you can even hire a horse that will carry you in the way. After trekking back down, we drive to Thimphu (about 3 Hrs) and stay there for a night.

Day 9: Drive to Punakha (1250 meters) from Thimphu
3 Hrs Drive

We leave the capital city of Bhutan and head towards Punakha which is positioned at the altitude of 1250 meters. Punakha is famous for its brilliant monasteries like Punakha Dzong etcetera. Beside this, we also see Mo Chhu river and Mount Jomolhari. Overnight stay in Punakha.

Day 10: Drive from Punakha to Paro
1 Hour

We drive back to Paro from Punakha to Thimpu and stop at the way to look at outstanding views from Dochula Pass at an altitude of 3100 meters. Beside this, we also witness Druk Wangyal gompa as we return to Punakha for the night stay.

Day 11: Bhutan to Nepal: Fly to KTM from Paro International Airport.
1 Hour

After arriving in Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu, you are picked and escorted to your hotel. You can explore some popular UNESCO world heritage sites while in Kathmandu like Pashupatinath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath etcetera depending upon the time constraint.

Day 12: Drive to Pokhara
6-7 Hrs Drive

After having a warm and tasty breakfast early in the morning we head towards another popular city and tourist hub of Nepal i.e. Pokhara.

Pokhara allures many visitors due to its pristine lakes, boating and peaceful milieu. Pokhara is also an adventure spot as it provides Paragliding, rafting and several other exciting adventure options. We will stay for 2 nights at our hotel in Pokhara.

Day 13: Full day Sightseeing and exploring Pokhara
1 Hour

Today we explore the scenic beauty and serenity of Pokhara. From Tourism point of view, Pokhara is one of the most reputed destinations in Nepal. In Pokhara we sightsee some renowned spots like Tal Varahi temple, Rupa Tal Lake, Begnas lake, Sarangkot, Shanti stupa etcetera. Begnas lake is quite a sight with pristine milieu and greenery.

You can also see the views of mountains from the Begnas lake and lakeside at times. Mahendra cave is another enigma that Pokhara has to offer. Amidst this cave, you will witness a statue of Hindu mythology God Shiva.

Day 14: Drive to Chitwan from Pokhara
6-7 Hrs Drive

We drive for about 6 hours to reach Chitwan. Our purpose here is to explore Chitwan National Park and indulge in some exciting adventures here in the park. We rest our stuff in the hotel and roam around the plain fields of Chitwan. We can also see the traditional dance and programs of Tharu people in the region that are conducted every evening.

Day 15: Chitwan National park Exploration
1 Hour

Today we enjoy ourselves with some exciting adventures in Chitwan National Park like Jungle Safari, Jungle Jeep Safari, Bird watching, Elephant safari, Elephant bathing etcetera. Chitwan National Park is the first National Park in Nepal and houses many mammals, birds and insect species.

Apart from these Canoe riding and bird watching are two other things you can do in Chitwan National Park. You can see elephants, one horned rhino, Bengal Tiger, deer, monkeys, crocodiles along with several bird species here. It is advancing as a wildlife adventure spot thanks to all the exotic life in this park.

Day 16: Back to Kathmandu
5 Hrs Drive

Today we will drive back to Kathmandu from Chitwan which takes us about 5 hours. Our drive will be interesting and filled with diversity as we travel from the Lower region of Nepal i.e. Terai to Hilly region of Nepal looking at different crops, terraced fields and forests.

We head to our hotel room where you can get refreshed and take some leisure time.

Day 17: Final Departure / Goodbye from Kathmandu
1 Hour

In general, we arrange a 3* Standard Category Accommodations with all facilities in cities. If available, you can opt for a more budget-friendly option or upgrade to a more luxurious hotel by paying a little extra.

Although all places during your trek do not have all modern facilities (especially at higher altitudes), we ensure that it is arranged safely and comfortably. Mostly hygienic and safe tea houses / local lodges/homestays are arranged & please feel free to personalize according to your preference.

If your travel schedule includes camping or if you choose to experience it, a correct campsite will be determined in advance and everything will be taken care of.
