KaliGandaki river has its name from the renowned Hindu goddess “Kali”, - the deity of destruction. This river is considered as one of the most sacred holy river of Nepal.

The river starts from the elevated on the Tibetan Plateau, Mustang. It flows down the Himalayas; the river slices the world deepest gorge between giant mountains of 8000 m i.e. Mt Annapurna and Mt. Dhaulagiri.

As of 1996, it was unlocked for commercial use.

Kaligandaki River rafting is adventurous with fun and thrilling white waters rafting activity, as well as provides panoramic views of mountains and green scenery. While rafting, you can experience the different grades of rapids with narrow rocks and waterfalls with the magnificent view of the Annapurna range.

The combination of the natural scenery of Annapurna Range, different grades of rapids, waterfalls, narrow passes, huge rocks, typical Nepali style houses and sandy beaches will give you the real adventure of rafting in Nepal.
