Kali Gandaki River Rafting Overview
KaliGandaki river has its name from the renowned Hindu goddess “Kali”, - the deity of destruction. This river is considered as one of the most sacred holy river of Nepal.
The river starts from the elevated on the Tibetan Plateau, Mustang. It flows down the Himalayas; the river slices the world deepest gorge between giant mountains of 8000 m i.e. Mt Annapurna and Mt. Dhaulagiri.
As of 1996, it was unlocked for commercial use.
