Kali Gandaki River Rafting Overview
Kali Gandaki Riverhas its name from the renowned Hindu goddess “Kali”, the deity of destruction. This river is considered one of the most sacred rivers of Nepal.
The river starts from an elevation on the Tibetan Plateau, Mustang. It flows down the Himalayas; the river slices the world's deepest gorge between giant mountains of 8,000 m, i.e., Mt Annapurna and Mt Dhaulagiri. As of 1996, it was unlocked for commercial use.
