More Information about the Route

Pick-up will be done from Kathmandu and continuing from there, the day’s journey will end in Tatopani via Pokhara. It will take around 5 hours, onwards from Pokhara. The terrain is a little rough but the destination compensates for it with its natural hot springs and breathtaking beauty. Once, we reach Tatopani, the night halt will be done in Jomsom.

Jomsom, in itself, is an impressive town with spectacular views of snowy peaks, undulating hills and the steady gurgling of the Kali-Gandaki River. An entire day is reserved for spending quality time here and simultaneously, recovers from the hectic schedule of the previous day.

The next day is for visiting Muktinath where the day is spent enjoying the temple and its surroundings before retiring for the night. Moving forward, the next stop will be Marpha where delicious local apples and apple products like apple wines as well as brandy are found in abundance.

Finally, with fond memories, we will start the return trip back to Kathmandu, passing through Pokhara once more. The thrill of a rocking jeep on the narrow, jagged rocks of Kagbeni and gravely pathways will definitely leave a few bones rattled if not an adrenaline rush.
