Everest Budget Helicopter Tour Overview
Everest Budget Helicopter Tour is an excellent offer package from Himalayan Trekkers where your burning desire to see the world's highest peak can be completed in a few hours and at a budget price. The magnificent rising hills decorated with farm fields and a backdrop of pleasing mountains are revealed in an aerial perspective from the helicopter.
The biggest attraction of this Budget Everest helicopter tour is the opportunity to see the world's tallest peaks up close, as well as other well-known summits like Gaurishankar, Cho-Oyu, Lhakpa Dorje, and others. The natural splendor of the Khumbu region is best appreciated from above, where you can take in the complete panorama of the snow-capped Himalayas, glaciers, and Sherpa settlements.
Our helicopter budget tour to Mount Everest begins from the airport in Kathmandu. As the plane takes off from the airport, you'll get a bird's eye view of the Kathmandu valley and many of its heritage monuments. The snow-covered peaks begin to appear in front of your eyes as the flight progresses towards the eastern side.
The chopper will land at an airfield for a short time to finish some of your trip's procedures. During the break, take in the sights of the Himalayan range that surrounds Lukla Township. The plane passes almost directly over the Khumbu glacier and Everest Base Camp. The helicopter lands at Everest Base Camp or Kala Patthar from where you will be able to see Mt. Everest, Nuptse West Face, Lhotse, Khumbutse, Pumori, and Ama Dablam up close and personal.

Best Time for Everest Budget Helicopter Tour
The Weather in the Himalayan region is unpredictable. They might rise and fall at any moment. But, helicopter flights to the Everest region can be done at any time of the year. Also, the weather is most favorable to the watchers in the morning time.
Spring (March – April) and Autumn (September – November) are the greatest time to take helicopter flights to the Everest Base Camp or Kala Patthar. These seasons have more moderate temperatures, sunny skies, little to no rain, and a lower likelihood of snowfall days offering spectacular views of the Himalayas, and the colorful environment.
Flights are also viable in Winter (December – February) since there is no possibility of rain and the days are clear. However, when the temperature drops and the winds pick up, the possibility of flight cancellation increases. Temperatures might drop to dangerously low levels, so you'll need to be well prepared. However, the sky is usually exceptionally clear in the winter, allowing for spectacular mountain views.
Helicopter flight is feasible in Summer/Monsoon (June – August), however, it is risky. In addition, constant rain increases the likelihood of aircraft delays or cancellations. There is frequent change in weather and the visibility is low due to heavy rains and clouds in this season and it is dangerous to fly in low visibility. The view of the Himalayas, which is the trip's main appeal, is obscured by heavy rain and clouds. So, a helicopter trip to Everest is not suggested.
In conclusion, spring and autumn are the best seasons for Everest helicopter flights. Nevertheless, the 1-Day Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour is possible in the winter but monsoon is not recommendable.
