Itinerary

Arrival on: Delhi

Departure from: Delhi

Day 1

Arrival in Delhi and explore markets in the evening.

Meals included: BB

Upon arrival at the airport in Delhi, you will be welcomed by the representative from Himalayan trekkers and transferred to the hotel.

After having some rest we explore the ancient markets and historical sites of Delhi. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Accommodation: Hotel Estimated Walking Distance: 30 min private drive.

Day 2

Full day sightseeing of Delhi.

Meals included: BB

Today we visit the famous and historical places in Delhi. We explore the magnificent Royal Red Fort also called Lal Killa. It is an attractive Fort made by the magnificent marvels with red stone. After that, we head towards Jami Masjid, this is taken as one of the biggest mosques in India. It was made by the famous king who made the Taj Mahal: Shah Jahan.

Furthermore, we explore Rajghat, which is one of the central places made in the memory of Mahatma Gandhi. After visiting the monuments and arts and architecture of Old Delhi we explore the presidential Palace which is also called Rashtrapati Bhawan, India Gate. India Gate is an unforgettable tribute constructed in the admiration and respect of the Indian military.

Day 3

Morning Flight to Varanasi and Full day sightseeing of Varanasi

Meals included: BB

After breakfast at the hotel, we will take our flight from Delhi to Varanasi. After arriving in Varanasi we can go straight to the Sarnath area, a short drive from Varanasi. This is the place where Lord Buddha gave his first teaching after being enlightened. We will also visit the Asoka pillar erected by Emperor Asoka.

We will see the evening rituals at the Ghat in the bank of Ganges. Overnight.

Day 4

Fly/drive to Khajuraho.

Meals included: BB

After breakfast, fly or drive to Khajuraho.

After reaching you will explore the erotic temple and also interacts with locals. area is not only famous for the erotic temples but it also shows the female part of the Indian traditions. You can see the women of India being shown in different activities of daily life.

Day 5

Scenic drive to Agra via Orchha and Jhansi.

After a delicious breakfast, you will enjoy a scenic drive to Agra by visiting two different sites Orchha and Jhansi en route.

 Orchha and Jhansi are the towns of the medieval period with old houses, many monuments which are the oldest of a country with a date of the 16th century.

After reaching Jhansi, you can either drive or travel to Agra by train too.

Day 6

Sightseeing of Agra.

After breakfast, we visit the legendary Taj Mahal, the symbol of love and peace, built by Mogul emperor Sarjahan in the Memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz.

We also visit the Agra fort also a land-mark form the Mogul period. The Itmad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb, known as the draft of the Taj Mahal is also a must-visit today.

Day 7

Scenic drive to Jaipur; city of happiness.

Meals included: BB

With a good breakfast, we will have a scenic drive to Jaipur. After you arrive at Jaipur you take some rest and at the time of the evening, you can explore the Jaipur Markets and famous Hawa Mahal or Wind Palace.

Day 8

Full Day Sightseeing of Jaipur.

Today after breakfast we start our sightseeing of Jaipur. We visit the renowned Amber Fort of the 16th century. This fort was constructed by Raja Man Singh who is the commander of Akbar's Rajput. At Amber Fort, we have an elephant back ride which is one of the major attractions of the Fort.

Furthermore, we explore the textile industry and small souvenir shops. The other major place to visit at the Jaipur is the City Palace of Jaipur, which is also called Hawa Mahal or Wind Palace and Jantar Mantar or Observatory which was constructed by Raja Jai Singh.

Day 9

Drive to Pushkar.

Meals included: BB

Our destination for today is Pushkar and is 146km away from Jaipur. The temple of Lord Brahma and the Lake Pushkar are the major attraction in this area. Although Lord Brahma is the creator of Universe there are very few temples of him. SO because of this reason the temple of Brahma in Pushkar is visited by many Hindu pilgrims throughout the year.

Day 10

Continue drive to Jodhpur.

Meals included: BB

The drive from Pushkar to Jodhpur is about 190km which will be similar to the day before.

  After a brief rest at the hotel, we will do the sightseeing of some famous sites and monuments of Jodhpur which include Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Building, Jhanki Mahal, the Clock Tower, and Sadar Market.

Day 11

Drive to Udaipur.

Meals included: BB

After breakfast, you will continue to drive to Udaipur which is 266 km from Jodhpur.

After checking-in to the hotel, you will take a brief rest and stroll the market in the evening.

Day 12

Full day sightseeing of Udaipur.

Meals included: BB

Your India Tour is coming to end and we will make most of the remaining. We will visit the Udaipur City Palace where you see the Durbar Hall, Palace Museum, Jadish Temple, and Crystal Gallery. Saheli Ki Bari is also an interesting site to visit in Udaipur.

Day 13

Fly back to Delhi.

After breakfast, as per your flying schedule, you will be transferred to the domestic terminal for flight to Delhi.

Free time to explore on your own as it is the final day of your tour.

Final departure.

A representative of Himalayan trekkers will transfer you to the airport 3 hours earlier your scheduled flight back to your hometown.
