Bhutan Cultural Tour offers you to land in Paro, drive to Thimpu with sightseeing, and a hike to Tiger Nest’s Monastery. Bhutan, also named as the Kingdom of Bhutan is a landlocked country. It is also known as the country of Thunder Dragon. Bhutan was previously a virgin land for the tourists. It opened its gate for tourists only in the year 1974. But with the condition that a tourist must pay a minimum daily fee of USD250 per person. On every part, there is at least one Monastery in Bhutan. And every monastery has its own unique features. This is a short 5 days trip to the beautiful country, Bhutan.
At first, you land at Paro International Airport. This is the only airport in Bhutan. From Paro, you are driven to Thimpu, which is the capital city of this country. You stay overnight on the day of arrival at Thimpu and go sightseeing the next day. During the sightseeing, you will be taken to Cheri Monastery in the morning, to the National Takin Reserve after lunch, the School of Thirteen Arts and Crafts, and to the National Textile Museum.
The next day, you will be driven to Paro, where you will visit Rinpung Dzong, National Museum, Kyichi Lhakhang, Drugyel Dzong, and Farmhouse. The next day you visit the most fascinating monastery in Bhutan, the Tiger Nest’s Monastery. The Bhutanese name of this monastery is Paro Taktsang. It is located on a cliffside. There is a belief that Guru Padmasambhava had meditated in this monastery. Thus, it has its own value among the Bhutanese people.
Additionally, the way it is uniquely located on the side of the cliff will attract you so very much. Bhutan is a very eco-friendly country, as it is preserved by the people and the government.
