Adventure Trip of Himalayan Countries is an outstanding package as it provides a glimpse of 4 distinct Himalayan countries: Nepal, Bhutan, India, and Tibet. We will have the opportunity to explore these paradises which occupy all of the Himalayan Ranges. One can even say, these countries are the paradise of earth.

We visit the antique and famous medieval streets with magnificent arts and architecture of the east as well as explore many interesting places from Jaipur, Agra to the pagoda-style streets of Thimpu, Lhasa, and the cultural sites of Kathmandu and every bits and pieces that one can imagine in just 21 days.

Moreover, traveling from the Taj Mahal to Potala you can see different variants of Himalayan ranges with unique civilization. This trip takes you from the lowlands of the Ganges to the elevated highlands of Tibet. As a note, the city of Jaipur is a multicolored town also called the Pink City. Additionally, the Taj Mahal of Agra is also called Mecca of Love.

This adventure trip of Himalayan countries begins from the capital city of India - Delhi. We head towards the ancient and antique city of Agra and Jaipur from Delhi. In Kathmandu, we visit the UNESCO World Heritage sites, ancient courtyards filled with mindblowing arts, architecture including superb stone and wood carvings.

From Kathmandu, we drive for Tibet via Kayrong and Syabru Besi. On the dedicated days of the trip, we explore the Everest Base Camp, Highlands of Tibet, religious sites and come across Buddhist philosophy and culture.

Itinerary

Arrival on: Delhi

Departure from: Lhasa

Day 1

Arrival in Delhi and explore markets in the evening.

Meals included: BB

Upon arrival at the airport in Delhi, you will be welcomed by the representative from Himalayan trekkers and transferred to the hotel.

After having some rest we explore the ancient markets and historical sites of Delhi. Overnight stay at Delhi.

Accommodation: Hotel Estimated Walking Distance: 30 min private drive.

Day 2

Drive from Delhi to Jaipur (258km).

Meals included: BB

After a delicious breakfast, we start our sightseeing in the morning. Firstly we start from the Laxmi Narayan Temple and a gigantic statue of Lord Shiva.

After that, we will have a scenic drive to Jaipur. After you arrive at Jaipur you take some rest and at the time of the evening, you can explore the Jaipur Markets and famous Hawa Mahal or Wind Palace.

Day 3

Full Day Sightseeing of Jaipur.

Today after breakfast we start our sightseeing of Jaipur. We visit the renowned Amber Fort of the 16th century. This fort was constructed by Raja Man Singh who is the commander of Akbar's Rajput. At Amber Fort, we have an elephant back ride which is one of the major attractions of the Fort.

Furthermore, we explore the textile industry and small souvenir shops. The other major place to visit at the Jaipur is the City Palace of Jaipur, which is also called Hawa Mahal or Wind Palace and Jantar Mantar or Observatory which was constructed by Raja Jai Singh.

Day 4

Drive to Agra (240km).

Meals included: BB

Today, we will have a scenic drive to Agra through Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri was built at Mughal Dynasty. It is a stunning building made by red sandstone which was constructed by the famous Mughal Ruler Akbar to memorialize Salim Chisti, who was a saint and sanctified King Akbar with three children i.e. sons.

We also see the magnificent buildings of the Jami Masjid, Diwan I Khas, the Panch Mahal, the grave of Salim Chisti and other renowned palaces. The shrines are the perfect paradigm of the blend of Islamic arts and architecture with Jain and Hindu enhancing arts.

Day 5

Early morning sightseeing of Taj Mahal and return back to Delhi.

Today after delicious breakfast we explore the places of Agra.

We visit the stunning Taj Mahal which is a perfect blend of Love as well as arts and architecture. It is also taken as one of the wonders of the world. Furthermore, we also explore a magnificent Fort of Agra, which is a huge equipped premeditated spot of the Mughal Empire.

At the time of the afternoon, we will return back to Delhi by driving. Upon arrival at Delhi, we travel around the famous Qutab Minar and Lotus Temple.

Day 6

Full Day sightseeing of Delhi.

Today we visit the famous and historical places in Delhi. We explore the magnificent Royal Red Fort also called Lal Killa. It is an attractive Fort made by the magnificent marvels with red stone. After that, we head towards Jami Masjid, this is taken as one of the biggest mosque in India. It was made by the famous king who made the Taj Mahal: Shah Jahan.

Furthermore, we explore Rajghat, which is one of the central places made in the memory of Mahatma Gandhi. After visiting the monuments and arts and architecture of Old Delhi we explore the presidential Palace which is also called Rashtrapati Bhawan, India Gate. India Gate is an unforgettable tribute constructed in the admiration and respect of the Indian military.

Day 7

Scenic flight to Paro (Bhutan).

Meals included: BB

Today we fly to Paro. While flying, we can see the beautiful and panoramic view of Himalayan Range, magnificent peaks Jichu Drake and Jumolhari of Bhutan.

Upon arrival at the airport in Paro, you will be welcomed by the guide. We take lunch and explore Ta Dzong. Furthermore, we head to visit the Rinpung Dzong literally known as "fortress of the heap of jewels". After that, we move to visit the oldest temple of Bhutan called Kichu Lhakhang. After short exploration of the temple, we visit the Drugyal Dzong which is also called Bhutan Victory Fort. It was constructed in 1646 to memorialize the success of Bhutan over Tibetan attackers in the 1600s. If the weather is clear then we can see the superb view of Jumolhari Mountain at 7,314 m, which is also the second tallest mountain of Bhutan.

Day 8

Hike to Tiger monastery and drive to Thimpu.

Today after breakfast, we walk to see the Tiger Nest Monastery which is also known as Taktsang. It is one of the renowned monasteries of Bhutan and thousands of foreigners visited this in a year. 8th-century Indian saint Rinpoche is supposed to have flown on the backside of Tigress to contemplate in a cave where tiger's Nest stands now. It is situated at the 900 m on top of Paro valley. The trek to the monastery gives you a magnificent view of natural scenery.

After the monastery tour, we will drive to Thimpu in the afternoon. In Thimpu (Capital city of Bhutan) we can see the different lifestyles of the people, hospitality and also we can see the local handicraft shops.

Day 9

Scenic drive to Punakha.

Meals included: BB

Today we drive to Punakha. While travelling we can see the magnificent scenery with lush vegetation and on the way we take a tea break at Dochu La (3100 m), from here we can see the magnificent view of different Himalayan Range. We move throughout the downhill with the rhododendron forests, Hemlock and Fir forests.

We reach at Punakha after crossing the rice field and Punakha River. On traveling, we visit the Metshina Village and walk about 15/20 minutes throughout the rice fields to Chimi Lhakhang, which is taken as the temple of fecundity devoted to Devine Madman or Lama Drukpa Kuenley. Here we get the unique fecundity consent from the Lama's if we desire. On the way, we have our lunch and we explore Punakha Dzong. It is magnificently located in between the female and male rivers like an attached ship.

Day 10

Return back to Paro.

Meals included: BB

After breakfast, we will enjoy our scenic drive to Paro via Dochula pass. On the way, we explore the newly made Druk Wangyal Monastery. It is one of the unique monasteries with different paintings and creative arts.

We will take a short break at Thimpu and carry on our trip to Paro. After we reach Paro, we visit the local town in the evening.

Day 11

Scenic flight to Kathmandu.

Today we depart from Paro and fly to Kathmandu.

Generally, Druk air flies early in the morning to evade the unfavorable condition of weather. So after breakfast, we will fly towards Nepal. While flying we can see the stunning Himalayan range magnificent scenery.

Day 12

Full Day Sightseeing of Kathmandu.

Meals included: BB

After breakfast, we have a full day sightseeing of the Kathmandu valley including Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and Swoyambhunath.

Pashupatinath is one of the sacred Hindu temples in Nepal and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Boudhanath is also renowned as the little Tibet in Kathmandu. This is a spiritual place with the two eyes of Buddha conveying the message of peace to you. Kathmandu Durbar Square lies in the center of the Kathmandu valley and has some of the most interesting monuments in Nepal. The Kasthamandap, the building from which Kathmandu derived its name, the Kumari Ghar, the House of the Living goddess Kumari, the Taleju temple and the most interesting the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, now a museum are some of the interesting buildings in Kathmandu Durbar Square. Swoyambhunath is also popular as "Monkey Temple" situated at the height of Kathmandu valley.

Day 13

Sightseeing of Bhaktapur and Patan Durbar Square.

Today we visit two more UNESCO World Heritage Sites Patan and Bhaktapur.

Patan is rich in Newar architecture. The floor of the square is tiled by red bricks and we can see the various temples and idols of gods and goddesses. In the periphery of the durbar, we can see the residence of the Newar community with their cultures and traditions. Also, we can see the fine arts and architecture with wooden and stone carvings.

In the same way, we visit the Bhaktapur, which is also known as the city of Devotees. Here we can see the ancient arts and architecture, culture, lifestyle of the local people. We can explore the Palaces with beautiful wood carvings and stone carvings temples also we can see the ancient courtyards and shrines.

Day 14

Scenic drive to Syabru Besi (1600m).

Meals included: BB

After breakfast, we will have a scenic and amazing off-road drive to Syabru Besi for overnight stay by enjoying the amazing views of rivers, hills, mountains and smiling local people. 

Syabru Besi is the town located in the northern part of Nepal in the Langtang region whcih is 20 km far from the Nepal-China border. 

In free time you can explore around and interact with local people of that area.

Day 15

Drive to Tingri (4050m) via Kayrong.

Meals included: BB

After breakfast, we will continue our drive to the border area, complete the immigration procedure and enters Tibet. Our representative on that side will be there to welcome and assist you.

Furthur drives to Tingri for overnight stay. 

(Note: You can also spend one more night at Kayrong to get proper acclimatization).

Day 16

Drive to Sakya (4100m) via Everest base camp (northern side).

Meals included: BB

Today after breakfast we move towards Sakya through driving. The drive is exploratory and scenic while we move to Rongbuk. We explore Rongbuk Monastery at Rongbuk, which is taken as the elevated monastery of Tibet.

After that, we drive to the Everest Base Camp (EBC)(5250m). We can also see the superb views of the different mountains like Sishapangma (8,013m), Cho Oyu (8,201m) and the impressive and almighty Everest also renowned as Chomolungma Mountain. It will be your lifetime experience to have face to face with the highest peak in the world as well as the earth. We will complete about a 17 km round excursion of the Everest Base Camp. The base camp is shrunken and unproductive rather the scenery of Everest is mouth-watering.

Day 17

Scenic drive to Shigatse (3900m).

Meals included: BB

Today we explore the Monastery called Sakya, which is also the ancient temple of the Sakyapa section of Tibetan Buddhism.

After that, we drive to Shigatse which is the second major town of Tibet. In Shigste we can see the renowned monastery called Tashilhunpo. It was discovered by the first Dalai Lama known as Gendun Drup in 1447. It is equally important from both prospectuses either culturally or historically.

Day 18

Scenic drive to Lhasa (3660m) via Gyantse.

Meals included: BB

After breakfast, we will continue our drive to Lhasa via Gyantse.

On the way, we will explore the amazing glacial lakes named Yamdork lake, Manak Dam Lake and  Perklor Monastery, Kumbum stupa and amazing mountains too. 

After reaching Lhasa, we will explore the market and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 19

Sightseeing of Lhasa including Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street

Meals included: BB

After breakfast, we will visit the Potala Palace, the Palace of the Dalai Lama. This architectural masterpiece is the symbol of unity of the Tibetans. This palace was built by King Soongtsan Gampo, who was married to Princess Wen Cheng Tang in 641 A.D. It has got 999 houses built on Hongshan Hill with a red building on top. It is one of the grandest palaces in the world to date.

After lunch, we will drive towards the Jokhang Temple, the most sacred temple for Tibetan Buddhists. After spending some time at the Jokhang temple we will walk through Barkhor Street, a traditional old street in Lhasa.

Day 20

Full day Sightseeing of Lhasa covering Norbulingka, Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery

We will start the sightseeing today from Norbulingka - the summer palace of the Dalai Lama, located along the Kyichu River and two kilometers west of the Potala Palace. This Palace has a huge garden covering 360,000 square meters, making it the biggest man-made garden in Tibet. It has got 374 rooms.

The second site is Drepung Monastery, made by Chojey Tashi Palden in the 14th Century. It had four departments, of which Loseling, or "The Hermitage of the Radiant Mind," was the largest, housing more than three-quarters of Drepung's ten to fifteen thousand monks. Now it is one of Tibet’s premier monastic educational institutions

Good bye to the himalayan nations and fly back to home.

With a great bunch of memories and souvenirs, you will say goodbye to Himalayan nations where a representative of Himalayan trekkers will transfer you to the airport for your scheduled flight back to your hometown.

In general we arrange a 3-star hotel with all facilities in cities. If available, you can opt for a more budget-friendly option or upgrade to a more luxurious hotel by paying a little extra.

Although all places during your trek do not have all modern facilities (especially at higher altitudes), we ensure that it is arranged safely and comfortably. Mostly hygienic and safe tea houses / local lodges / home stays are arranged & please feel free to personalize according to your preference.

If your travel schedule includes camping or if you choose to experience it, a correct campsite will be determined in advance and everything will be taken care of. If required, we also provide equipment such as a tent, cookware, etc. Check the equipment lists and equipment lists for more information.

Meals

Breakfast is usually included with your B&B accommodation within the costs. Meals in the city must be paid separately. Often in the cities, you can choose from many different cuisines and varied food services. We can always help you find the right place.

Remote areas don't have that many options, but hygienic and well-prepared food is always served. Moreover, most meals are included in the costs during your trek. We can help you make changes according to your preference and budget, but only if choices are available! Upper Dolpo to Jomsom Trek

Strenuous Trekking Grade is both moderate and difficult. Even in this grade, treks reach around 5000-5500 meters. You will have to walk generally for 6-7 hours each day. Strenuous treks require good physical condition and acclimatization. If some problems seem to appear, you have to walk down and take some hot drinks or soup ( + rest). You may be affected rapidly if you have high blood pressure, asthma, heart disease or complicated medical conditions. Advise is required from your doctor before starting these kinds of treks.
