Mt. Kailash and Manosarovar Lake via driving

Kailash is one of the sanctified mountains of Asia situated at the far western area of Tibet at the height of 6700 m. According to the Hindu Mythology, Hindu's deity Shiva lives on the peak of Mt. Kailash, Where he stays for contemplation with his wife Parbati, daughter of Himalaya. This is most sacred place and the final destination of soul and religious hub of the world. Similar to Kailash, Manosarovar Lake is the symbol of clarity and Purity. It is considered as the sacred place of pilgrimage, which attracts Hindus people from all corner of the world. Those who take bath in this sacred lake and drinks water of it, is assumed to rinse out all sins.  Devotees who visited the divine places of Mt. Kailash and Manosarovar Lake takes a life time memory and experience which helps to remind of the Lord Shiva in their life and provides them a sense of peace and serenity. Itinerary in Details

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu
Upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, you will be welcomed by the representative from Adventure Mission Nepal. After check in hotel have rest. At evening welcome dinner with cultural show in typical Nepalese restaurant. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing of UNESCO World Heritage Sites:
After breakfast we have a full day sightseeing of the Kathmandu valley including Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swoyambhunath. Pashupatinath is one of the sacred Hindu temples in Nepal and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Boudhanath is also renowned as the little Tibet in Kathmandu. This is a spiritual place with the two eyes of Buddha conveying the message of peace to you. Kathmandu Durbar Square lies in the center of the Kathmandu valley and has some of the most interesting monuments in Nepal. The Kasthamandap, the building from which Kathmandu derived its name, the Kumari Ghar, the House of the Living goddess Kumari, the Taleju temple and the most interesting the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, now a museum are some of the interesting buildings in Kathmandu Durbar Square. Swoyambhunath is also popular as "Monkey temple" situated at the height of Kathmandu valley. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03: Drive to Nyalam
We will pack our breakfast and start early towards Kodari (China/Nepal boarder).We will reach Kodari in 5 hours and further drive to Zhangmu, where we will complete the frontier formalities. After completing the frontier formalities we will reach Nyalam for overnight stay following the Bhote Koshi River. The total drive is 153 KM.

Day 04: Rest day
The day will be spent to explore the surrounding and acclimatize as we are going for a trek in a high altitude.

Day 05: Drive from Nyalam to Saga.
We will start our 7 hours drive after breakfast and drive past Labug-La 5150m. On the way you will see lots of yak Herds, small Tibetan settlements, lakes and streams. We will reach Saga in the afternoon after crossing one of the famous rivers of Asia, Brahmaputra.

Day 06: Morning Havan on Lake, visit Raksas Taal,
Today is one of the luckiest days for us because we will have the first glance of sacred Mt. Kailash and Manosarovar Lake. This is a life time experience and attainment; we will take a holy bath and explore the Manosarovar surroundings. Overnight in a tented camp.

Day 07: Drive around Mansarovar towards Raksas Lake
After exploring the Raksas Lake, you can either choose to go to Ustapad or overnight stay at Manosarovar area. After that we will be ready for the parikarma days by packing our bags.

Day 08:Parikrama to Dehara Puk
Today, we feel that heaven had unlocked the entire door for us and permitted us to glance inside the magnificent world of gods and goddesses. We will hike around 18 Km throughout the valley along with the sacred river Ganges on our left side and shaded by Mt. Kailash on our right side. You cannot express the feelings of today's by your own tongue. So pack your camera and capture mouthwatering views of Mt. Kailash. Overnight stay in hotel or tent.

Day 09: Parikrama continues to Dolma-La Pass
Today is the toughest day but sacred day of our journey with Dolma-La pass (19500 ft) in between two valleys i.e. Yamasthal and Shivasthal. First we have to cross Yamastahl to arrive at Shivasthal, from here you are closer to the Dolma-La pass. When you arrive at the top of it, you can perform holy offerings and sit down for meditation. On the way, we can see the Parvatistal and Gauri Kund. At afternoon, we will reach at Zuthul Puk which is also renowned as the cave of Miracles. Overnight stay at tented camp.

Day 10: Parikrama ends and drive to Saga
We will reach Saga in the afternoon after a drive of 6 hours.

Day 11: Drive to Kathmandu. (7 hours)
This is the last day at Tibet for you as in one hour after breakfast we will reach Kodari, on the Nepal-Tibet border. From the border we will drive along the Araniko Higway, built in assistance of the Chinese government, to reach Kathmandu. It is a scenic 4 hours drive through hills and river valleys.

Day 12: Depart Kathmandu
Finally, our Kailash tour concludes successfully. Today we exchange your feelings and experience about the trip while we move to the airport for the final departure. Hope to see you again!!
