Itinerary in Details

Day 01:  Arrive Kathmandu
Upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, you will be welcomed by the representative from Adventure Mission Nepal. After check in hotel have rest. At evening welcome dinner with cultural show in typical Nepalese restaurant. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02:  Sightseeing of UNESCO World Heritage Sites
After breakfast we have a full day sightseeing of the Kathmandu valley including Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swoyambhunath. Pashupatinath is one of the sacred Hindu temples in Nepal and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Boudhanath is also renowned as the little Tibet in Kathmandu. This is a spiritual place with the two eyes of Buddha conveying the message of peace to you. Kathmandu Durbar Square lies in the center of the Kathmandu valley and has some of the most interesting monuments in Nepal. The Kasthamandap, the building from which Kathmandu derived its name, the Kumari Ghar, the House of the Living goddess Kumari, the Taleju temple and the most interesting the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, now a museum are some of the interesting buildings in Kathmandu Durbar Square. Swoyambhunath is also popular as "Monkey temple" situated at the height of Kathmandu valley. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03: Fly to Lhasa
Today we will fly to Lhasa airport and after that transfer to hotel i.e. 100 km along with Yerlung Tsangpo and Lhasa River. Afternoon, we will visit the sacred shrine in Tibet known as Shakyamuni Buddha. This is the golden statue brought by the Chinese Princess Wenchen. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 04: Visit Potala palace (3650m)
Today early in the morning we explore the Potala Palace which is also known as the seat of both religions and politics in Tibet. It was constructed by Tibetan King Songsten Gampo in 7th century and later  repaired in 17th century by 5th Dalai Lama. Afternoon, we explore the Sera Monastery which is situated at 5 km north of the famous Lhasa city. Similarly, it was constructed by Jamchen Choeji in 1419. Jamchen Choeji is a follower of Tsongkhapa, who is the initiator of the Gelugpa section. Sera Monastery is one of the famous monastery of the Tibet. After that we visit the Tibet Museum. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05: Drive to Shigatse (3840m)
The total drive is short compared to other days today (90 Km) Depending upon the road condition we visit Shakya Monastery which is 52 kms return we will further continue to Xigatse , the place of the famous Tashilumpo Monastery and the seat of Panchen Lama. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 06: Drive to Gyantse (3950m)
We will make a early morning visit to the Tashilumpo Monastery and the market of Bazaar .We will drive further to Gyantse, a couple of hours drive  In the 15th century it served as the capital of a small Kingdom. Kumbum Chorten a 14th century monument is a place worth visiting here. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 07: Drive to Tsedang (3600m)
Today we will drive about 8 hours to Tsedang via Karola pass (5010 m) and Kampala Pass (4794 m). The Karola is between two giant mountains Nochen Kangsang (7223 m) and Ralung (6236 m). On the way you can see the Yamdrok Tso which is Turquoise Lake which takes about an hour to cross around. After crossing Kambala, we can see the Lhasa valley in the north. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 08: Drive to Samye Monastery (3700m)
It takes approximately an hour through the Yarlung Tsangpo river through exploring Samye village. Afternoon, explore Yumbulakhang Palace which is the ancient Buddhist Temple in Tibet. After that we visit Tradruk Temple which is situated 15 km from the Tsedang. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 09: Drive to Lhasa airport to Kathmandu
After a two and half hours flight we will arrive in Kathmandu Airport and Transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 10: Depart Kathmandu to reach another destination or fly back home You can depart from Kathmandu to your home country or extend the trip and head for another trip within or outside Nepal.
