Thank you all for a terrific first experience in Nepal. Every service was more than adequate and every request was taken care of. Your genuine honesty, hospitality and friendship will be memories. I treasure of Nepal as much as the mountains, Jungles and the food. Hopefully in the not too distant future it will all happen again.
All the best in the future.

I found Raj’s company through the internet when I was looking for a tour in Kathmandu. Since then I contacted Raj by email and he was patient to answer all my questions as I never been to Nepal yet. Me and my friend did the 4 day tour in Nepal. Raj’s service was really good… he was on-time picking us up in our hotel (by the way, we got upgraded at the same price of 3 star), very knowledgeable about the Nepali culture and very hospitable as well as his family as he invited us for a typical Nepali dinner. It was an awesome Dal Bhat! Our 4-day trip was a great experience and we are arranging our next trip again to see the countryside. Definitely, we will book it again through Raj!
I travelled in Nepal in 2009 together with my friend Sara. We had been on the road in about three months and had arrived recently in Nepal when we booked Raj as our mountain guide. He free lanced and was chosen to be our guide by a trekking agency we used. The agency was recommended to us by a friend and we were sure to get a good guide and we ended up with Raj – a considerate and friendly guide who made us feel safe and comfortable.
We trekked together to Annapurna Base Camp, a trek that took us ten days. It can be done faster than that but we took our time and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. The rhododendron forests with monkeys, the rivers we crossed, the 7000 meter mountain peak around us all took our breath away.
Raj was an excellent guide. He is talkative and very out-going. That is important when you spend ten days together and we immensely enjoyed his company. He booked the lodges and knew the route very well. One of our last days we had a spontaneous party with the hosts of the lodge and some fellow trekkers we met along the way. It was so much fun! Luckily, we did not walk too long the following day... This shows how Raj is as a guide; he is a good person to be around and he adapts the trekking to a suited level.
I recommend Raj as a guide to anyone who wants to get the most out of hers/his trek in Nepal!
After we decided to visit Nepal, we asked Raj to get us some useful information. He immediately sent us a few trekking options, so we could choose the most interesting one. The only thing we had to do was to let Raj know when we were coming and where we wanted to go. Everything else was ready for us. We were waited at the airport, taken to the hotel by taxi, shown Kathmandu. Then, the other day, a guide speaking good English and also a friendly porter took us to Pokhara, where our fantastic trip started.
We chose Annapurna Base Camp trek, spent more than a week walking picturesque Nepali mountains, passing villages, fields, forests, meeting nice people...The guide was always ready to talk about the country, explain traditions and habits, certainly he knew good lodges, canteens, he supported us during the trekking. All in all, we spent wonderful time in Nepal - not only because the country is catchy - also because of the support of the agency.
I hope the text can be useful for you. Regards to your family,

Regarding Adventure Mission Nepal They my definitely my No. 1 for trekking if you need a group led by a efficient tour leader/guide. They offer a wide range of trekking opportunity, the ultra-cheap (just having a Nepali guide and staying in tea houses, and the ridiculously expensive treks with its deluxe coffee, sit-down toilets, and huge crews. What I did was a middle way between these two but I still feel I got best for what I had paid. I am looking forward to do another trek in the Everest region, most probably to Kalapatthar, for which I have heard amazing stories from Raj!!!!!
I went on to a Mt. Kailash trek with Raj as the leader. He was an A-1 leader, always considerate of a slow walker like me! Normally I am scared to even climb a 6-foot ladder but on this trek we went up to 17,500 feet! Sherpas on this trek became like my family, they even encouraged by holding my hand over really narrow portions of the trek. Fellow trekkers were equally helpful; it was so good that I gave a party for all when we returned to Kathmandu.
Thank you Raj for this wonderful trek. You made the trip far better than our expectations when we left home. Content of the trip produce a calm warm friendship between all of us. That is unique in a trek. And you where the one that made all this good things happened. Thank you.
It will take me a few weeks to fully absorb the experience we all shared, but I really feel that it was significant, wonderful, inspirational and much much more! And once again a BIG THANKS for all the organizing that made this trip possible and thanks to you for being you!

This trip couldn’t have been better without your organization. We really admire the relationship you have with the service providers and local people and we believe you must take pride on having such good relations. The tea-house trekking was great with comfortable lodges and amazing views...

You have a fantastic team and your management is a complete professional setup. I would love to come next time with my parents for a trek but much easier as they are aging. See you again!!!!

These 18 days in the mountains is the most exciting time I have spent in my whole life. The first experience to these snow peaks has encouraged me to travel and explore more of it and I would heartily thanks Raj and his team for the arrangements they have made. The most important things that the guide had some flexibility built into the schedule, that the company was more concerned with the experience but kept the goal in mind, and finally that they had some sensitivity to the local people. Dawa’s team takes great care of their clients and the locals they hire; they pay them well and treat them with respect. It was a pleasure trekking with them and I’ve recommended them too many friends.
