This is one of the most exciting trekking trails in Nepal and lies between the Langtang & Everest. As this trail goes near by the Tibetan border this is an opportunity to get an insight into the Tibetan Lifestyle and traditions. This 3 week trek starts from Dolakha, a small town, about Eight hours of drive from Kathmandu. The choice of crossing Tashi Lapcha pass(5755m) to go to Namche Bazaar (highest town in Nepal) is an its own different adventure. This trek is one of the most exciting treks as it takes you to some of the highest passes in Nepal, Tibetan settlements, river valleys, hills and basins. This trek goes to the high Himalayas and most important also into the Sagarmatha national park, you can see a variety of flora and fauna. Animals and birds such as the Himalayan tahr, Himalayan snow-cock, musk deer, Himalayan pheasant, and Danfe, snow-pigeon and blood pheasant are common in this area.
