Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu
Arrive at Kathmandu after a scenic flight over the mountains. Meet the representative of Adventure Mission Nepal Treks & Expedition (AMN) and transfer to Hotel.
Day 02: Explore the city and prepare for the trek.
You can spend this day exploring some of the World heritage sites in Kathmandu valley for some time and prepare for the trek in the afternoon.
Day 03: Drive to Dolakha (1350m)
We will reach Dolakha (1660m.) driving past Lamosangu (750m.) and Charikot (1980m.). It is an adventurous drive going through winding roads through hills and mountains.
Day 04: Drive to Shigati (950m)
After breakfast we will start a three and half hours drive to Shigati passing thorough the village of Piguti. The trails pass through gravel road crossing the different villages of mixed community. You have to cross the several streams and jungles with varieties of orchid, rhodendrons and other natural vegetation.
Day 05: Trek to Jagat (1440m)
Today we walk for seven hours to reach Jagat. For the first couple of hours we walk through flat land which has numerous paddy fields. We will walk past several villages with a very thin population and forests with vegetation such as orchid, rhododendron and other wild vegetation. After a long walk, we reach Jagat which has a mixed population including Tamangs, Magars, Brahmin and Chhetris.
Day 06: Trek to Simigaon (2020m)
Today is another long day after breakfast and lasts for more than seven and a half hours. Similar to yesterday we walk in a flat area for the first half of the day and then after lunch we do some small ascents and descents. Several places, you cross through suspension bridge. There are numerous villages on your way. You can find small teashops and local shops at some of the places. Steeply climb up to Simigaon, a village inhabited by Buddhist and few Hindus.
Day 07: Trek to Daldung La (3976m)
Today is the day when we will have the first sight of the villages of the legendary Sherpas, who are best known for their mountaineering skills and hospitality. The trail gradually goes up through the Rhododendron forest. After going up for some time we start ascending and descending paths while enjoying the scenic beauty of the place. If it happens to be a season you will witness the Yak Naka a temporary Yak shed especially for the preparation of cheese and butter. At late afternoon we will reach Daldung La where we will stay in our overnight camp.
Day 08: Trek to Beding (3690m)
After breakfast again a long day starts. We will walk for around 7 hours to reach Beding, a big village with majority of the Sherpa community. This day offers scenic view of the Mt Gaurishanker and the surrounding peaks in the Everest and the Langtang region. Similar to the previous days we will walk past small settlements, Yak stable and rhododendron forests.
Day 09: Rest Day
Today is a day for rest and acclimatization. You can explore the area near by the Tibetan border and do a small hike in the nearby hills.
Day 10: Trek to Na (4180m)
Today the walking duration is only 4 hours which makes it one of the shortest days of the trek. This day you can explore the upper slopes of the valley for Snow Partridge or a visit to the nearby glacier lake. The trek path slightly ascends along the river bank. The place is an open path with fresh air and the charming sound of the river. You can have the panoramic view of the mountains as the trek moves forward. You will also come across the Sherpa village having their own specialties.
Day 11: Rest Day at Na.
This is a rest day for the preparation of tomorrow’s accent of Ramdung Go.
Day 12: Trek to Tso Rolpa Lake (4540m).
We will gradually start walking up towards the Tso Rolpa Lake in the morning. You will be able to witness the beautiful Natural Lake filled with the chilling water of the glaciers. The views of Menlung and Tibetan Side Mountains add glory to your trek
Day 13: Trek to Trakarding Glacier (4800m)
We will start today and walk through the glaciers throughout the day reach Trakarding Glacier in approximately 5 hours, where our camp will be waiting for us.
Day 14: Trek to Tashi Lapcha Phedi Camp (5755m)
The trail is fairly challenging today and we will access the highest point of the trek today. The trail goes through some rocky terrain and also passes some glaciers. We will make the overnight stay at the Tashi Lapcha Pedi Camp.
Day 15: Trek via Tashi Lapcha Pass to Tashi Cape
You will climb up the Tashi Lapcha Pedi and cross the Tashi Lapcha Pass through Tashi Cape. The trial will completely be over the snow straight up and then steep down towards Tashi Cape.
Day 16: Trek to Thyomgbo (4350m)
Today you will be experiencing a bit easy glacier walking. The trail descends down towards Thyomgbo
Day 17: Trek to Thame (3820m)
Early morning you will trek down to Thame. This trail gradually descends and you will have an added experience of easier trail and will be able to enjoy the natural beauty of the environment.
Day 18: Trek to Thame (3805m)
Today's three hour walk is a step back in time as we pass by many old, walled Sherpa villages, seasonal settlements of the Thame and Thamo villagers. We will probably also share the trail with Tibetan yak caravans, Khampas, trading en route to and from Namche and Tibet with the villagers. We follow the Bhote Kosi all day, and when we reach Thame Thang we hike right through the old village. We'll make a short detour to Kerok Gompa, still small and Sherpa in style. Back down from the gompa, we have a small ridge to climb before we look down on Thame and our lodge for the night. Thame is an old village of snaking rock walls, yak paddocks and traditional slate-roofed Sherpa houses. Thame Gompa, perched up to the north of the village, is one of the oldest in the Khumbu, and one of the gompas that celebrates the Dunche festival in the summertime.
Day 19: Trek to Namche [3450m]
We follow the trail along the Imja River and, after crossing it, climb back up through the rhododendron forest to reach Tengboche. You can see many Himalayan peals from here. Some of them include Kwangde, Tawoche, Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Thamserku, Amadablam and Kantega. We will walk further for 5 hours until we reach Namche for overnight stay.
Day 20: Trek to Lukla [2800m]
Today is the last day of the trek as we will descend down to Lukla. Since you have completed the most exciting trek in the world it calls for a party so engage in the local restaurants with the crew and have some beer and dance with the local Sherpas in the evening.
Day 21: Fly to Kathmandu
We will reach Kathmandu for breakfast as we will take a early morning flight from Lukla. You are free in the day time to explore or take rest.
Day 22: explore the city and Rest.
You can spend this day exploring some of the World heritage sites in Kathmandu valley for some time and prepare for the flight home the next day.
Day 23: Depart Kathmandu to reach another destination or fly back home with memories of the trek.
You can depart from Kathmandu to your home country or extend the trip and head for another trip within or outside Nepal.
