This trip also takes you to some of the unexplored Muslim villages and Mosque which have a different story to tell. Itinerary in Detail

Day Details
01 Arrival at Kathmandu International airport. Be received, welcomed & assisted by our representative & transfer to hotel.  Afternoon visit to Jame Mosque and the Kashmiri Mosque. Overnight at hotel.

Early morning drive to Pokhara (200 KM/ 7 hours).  On the way visit the Muslim Settlement and the Mosque at Kotre. Arrive Pokhara, check in to the hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at Pokhara.

Pokhara: It is a scenic valley with 7 lakes situated 200km west from Kathmandu. It is the 2nd most popular destination in Nepal after Kathmandu. Pokhara city is the starting or ending point of almost every trek going to the Annapurna region. Situated at 900m the city is famous for the proximity of mountains as the Annapurna range lies just 28 Km of horizontal distance from Pokhara.

After Breakfast sightseeing of Pokhara including Davi’s falls, Mahadev cave Tibetan Refugee camp and Seti River Gorge. Overnight at hotel.

Sightseeing of Pokhara: After breakfast we will go for the sightseeing of Pokhara city covering Davis fall, Gupteshwor cave, Tibetan refugee camp and Bindabasani Temple. Davis fall is a beautiful waterfall named after a Swiss who was swept away by the flood while bathing in the waterfall. Gupteshwor cave is an amazing 100 m long cave divided in 2 parts. At the end of 1st 50m you can see a self created statue of lord Shiva and at the end of the cave you can see the Davis fall coming down from the other side. Tibetan refugee camp is the place where the Tibetan refugees were given sheltered after they were exiled from Tibet in the decade of 50’s. There you can see the lifestyle and differnet occupation followed by the refugees. Bindabasani is small but old temple situated at the heart of the old market in Pokhara. It is very famous for the marriages that take place in huge numbers there.
04 Drive back to Kathmandu. Free day for shopping and activites of personal interest. Overnight at Hotel

Half day Guided tour of Kathmandu valley covering Khokana and Bungmati Village. Overnight at Hotel.

Khokana and Bungmati-The twin villages of Bungmati & Khokana date from the 16th century and are located south of Kathmandu, down a rutty road dotted with Chaityas. Bungmati is the winter home of Lord Rato Machhendranath, the protector God of Patan. At Khokana ancient oil presses can be seen at work in village houses. They are twin villages located just 6 kilometers from Patan. Khokana is a small village in which traditional craftsmanship still takes an important role. Villagers can often be seen spinning, winnowing and crushing mustard seeds. Especially the latter is what Khokana is most famous for, it's mustard oil. The village has a broad street leading into its centre. After exploring Khokana we will walk to Bungmati. This is an approximately 20 minute’s walk through on the road dividing the agricultural land. Bungmati, just like Khokana, is a Newari village where traditional life still can be seen. The village houses the typical Newari buildings. Before starting our sightseeing tour in Patan we will enjoy a typical The best time to visit Bungmati and Khokana is autumn and spring because at that time the whole village looks colorful. They hand red chilly garland from the top floor to the ground floor in the whole village. Most of the farmers in these villages are either involved in spinning or oil pressing business.

06 Final departure- After breakfast, walk around the main tourist area and shopping. Check out hotel and processed for lunch. After lunch depart to airport and farewell.
