The river Trishuli goes parallel with us till Mugling and then we take a left to Pokhara. From Mugling onwards you see the Marshayngdi River going on the opposite direction and the view of the mountains starts as soon as you are 40 KM away from Pokhara. On a normal day the mountains will be seeing you once you get down from Kathmandu. Stroll around the lake side in the evening.

Day 6: Forest Camp to High Camp. (4100m)
Our day starts after the warm breakfast served at the forest camp. Although the walk today is not very long but since it is steep and in some places difficult to climb we will take our time and try to reach the high camp by the late afternoon. Going slow and steady helps to do the trek with more enjoyment.
Day 7: Trek to the Base Camp (4500m)
Today is the most exciting day of the trip as we are climbing up to the base camp of Mardi Himal. This is the main highlight of the trip. We start the day after a early breakfast and start climbing up. This is also the most challenging part of the trek as the trail is small and difficult to walk in some places. After spending some time at the much awaited base camp of the Mardi Himal we descent down to the high camp. Altogether it takes about 7 hours for the whole trip today.
Day 8: Trek to Siding Village. (1280m)
We have a long descent ahead of us today as for almost 7 hours we continuously go down with occasional climbs. We reach the Siding village in the late afternoon and camp over there.
