Itineraty in details

Day 01: Arrival at Delhi and explore Delhi.
The representative from Adventure Mission Nepal’s India agency will pick you up from the airport. After a brief rest you will go for an introductory walk around the old streets of Delhi.

Day 02: Drive to Jaipur: 258 kms/ 6.5 hrs 
We drive to the city of Jaipur today; it is also referred as the pink city of India. After breakfast at hotel we will do the sightseeing of the Laxmi Narayan Temple and Giant Shiva Statue. The drive to the pink city is about 7 hours and we cover the distance of around 260km. Upon arrival at Jaipur we will rest a bit and start the sightseeing of the famous landmarks of Jaipur. The places to see in Jaipur include the City Jaipur Palace, Hawa Mahal or Wind Palace and Jantar Mantar , a 17th century Observatory built by king Jai Singh. We will also visit the Amber fort if we have enough time if not we will visit it after breakfast tomorrow.

Day 03: Drive to Agra: 240 km/ 4 hrs
We will drive to Agra after breakfast. On the way we will make a brief stop at Fatepur Sikri, built by Mughal Emperor Akbar. The surrounding also includes the Jame Mosque, the tomb of Salim Christi, the Panch Mahal and others. Upon arrival at Agra check in at the hotel.

Day 04: Drive back to Delhi: 210 km/4.5 hrs
After breakfast we visit the legendary Taj Mahal, the symbol of love and peace, built by Mogul emperor Sarjahan in the Memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz. We also visit the Agra fort also a land mark form the Mogul period. After sightseeing in Agra we will drive back to Delhi and visit the Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple, India Gate, Parliament House, Birla Temple, and Raj Ghat.

Day 05: Fly from Delhi to Kathmandu.
Our staff with your name plate will be waiting for you in the airport. After check in at the hotel in Kathmandu we transfer you to Pasupatinath and Boudhanath, two world heritage sites in Kathmandu city among the 7. Your first sight of Kathmandu might not be very pleasant because of the long queue in the airport for visa as most of the people get visa on arrival we advise our guest to get visa from their home country. Pasupatinath Temple- Pashupatinath is the biggest shrine of Lord Shiva in Nepal and is the most scared temple for Hindus all over the world. The present structure is not very old but the site of Pasupatinath has been holy since last 2000 years. The cremation site beside the temple is a unique site for visitors as you see the burning of the dead bodies is interesting but not a pleasant site. The holy men with all kinds of makeup and ashes all over the bodies are also central attraction besides the Pasupatinath temple and the Holy River Bagmati. Boudhanath Stupa- Boudhanath Stupa is also known as the Little Tibet in Kathmandu as more than 50 thousand Tibetan refugees took refuge in Boudhanath area after the Chinese invasion of Tibet in 1949. This is a spiritual place with the two eyes of Buddha conveying the message of peace to you. Make sure you go through the Thanka painting galleries around the area to better understand the concept of Tibetan Buddhism and its practices.

Day 06: Drive to Pokhara. 200km/6 hours
After a warm breakfast at hotel we start the 7 hours/200km drive to Pokhara. We will make few stops on the way as there are lots of places to capture photographs. We will follow the Trishuli River, one of the best rivers for amateur rafting until Mugling and then onwards go on the opposite direction of the Marshayngdi River for a while. Besides the small and simple villages the Prithvi Highway also offer nice view of mountains, most notably from Khairini and onwards. If the weather is clear you can see the Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, Manaslu and Annapurna as soon as you start going down from Kathmandu. In the evening stroll around the lake side or depending on the time you reach Pokhara for a boating trip in the Phewa Lake.

Day 07: Full day sightseeing of Pokhara.
Your city guide will come to receive you after breakfast and drive towards the Davis fall, named after a Swiss coupled washed away by the waterfall in 1961. Then cross the road and go to the Gupteshwor cave with a self created statue of Lord Shiva and the view of Davis fall coming down from the other side. A 5 minutes walk from the Gupteshwor cave is the Tibetan refugee camp where you can see Tibetan refugees doing different kinds of work for livelihood such as making carpets, making jewelries with semi precious stones and selling things to tourist. After spending some time to understand Tibet and its political conditions in the area we head towards the Bindabasani temple and the Seti river gorge.

Day 08: Drive to Chitwan.170km/5 hours
The drive from Pokhara to Chitwan is a scenic drive of 6 hours. The change in the vegetation and lifestyle of the people is very significant. We will reach Chitwan for Lunch on this day. After a brief rest we take a walk through the village of the Tharu people, one of the famous indigenous groups in Nepal. They are famous for their resistance against Malaria, also for the huts they live in and the unique culture they have which they brought with them from Rajasthan in India from where they migrated. After a brief walk in the village to understand better we will come back to the hotel to see the Tharu dance program, which is a collection of many different dances that are performed by Tharu in different festivals.

Day 09: Full day jungle activities in Chitwan National park.
Yes you are in the periphery of the Chitwan national park, the best habitat for tropical animals and plants in Nepal. This is an exciting day ahead of you. After breakfast in the morning we drive for a while from your jungle camp and go for the canoeing in the Budi Rapti River. The canoeing lasts for maximum 40 minutes and during those 40 minutes you see atleast 20 species of birds and 2 species of crocodiles basking in the sun. There are chances to see the one horned rhino and other wild animals. After the canoeing we go to the elephant breeding center where female elephants are kept for breeding. You might also see few small naughty ones coming to play with the visitors. We drive to the elephant bathing place in Suaraha. You can participate in the elephant bathing if you want. It cost you 2-3 dollars for a shower on top of an elephant.  We head back to the hotel for lunch and rest for a while. At around 3 pm we will go for the elephant ride inside the Chitwan national park which lasts for 2 hours. There you can see many animals including one horned rhino, 4 species of deers, monkeys and many more.

Day 10: Drive back to Kathmandu. 170km/5 hours

Day 11: Final Departure from Nepal.
