Everest view trek is a short Everest Trekking for the splendid scenario of the Everest and the closer look at the Sherpa traditions and cultures. Trek to Everest is a best trek for those climbers who have not much enough time and have a short holiday’s program. Trekking in Everest is also for those climbers who want to view the Everest and wants to be familiar with the Sherpa’s community and gain knowledge about them without trekking at the high altitude. The trek begins with a magnificent mountain flight to Lukla which is Nepal’s busiest aircraft at 2800m, which provides the gateway for the Everest areas. From Lukla our trek continues throughout the green flora of Sagarmatha National Park with the rhododendron flowers, pine forests as well as plenty of wildlife to Namche Bazaar which is at the height of around 3440m. A rest day is must at the Namche Bazaar for the preparation for the higher altitudes. The next day walk will bring you to the Tengboche monastery at the height of 3860m which is one of the striking places of Everest view trek.

Many people who come to trek to Everest want the sanction from the Lama of the monastery. Each year Mani Rimdu fiesta in Tengboche monastery is very special and we suggest trekkers not to miss that. This is one of the most renowned monasteries in Everest area and gives a mouth watering view of Everest and other peaks of these areas. Hence trek to Tengboche monastery is also known as Everest view trek. Tengboche is renowned by the photographers as one of the fantastic places to confine the splendid attractiveness of Mt. Everest (8848m), Ama Dablam and their adjoining mountains. Likewise, a visit to Syangboche will provides you the most dazzling view of Everest and other Khumbu peaks in the whole Everest areas. It will be the memorable day of you trip.

  2. Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival
    After arrival in the International airport at Kathmandu you will be greeted by our representative from Adventure Mission Nepal (AMN) Treks and transfer to hotel. After having some rest there we will be discussing about the trek details and necessary equipments that you need while trekking. We will organize a welcome dinner at the traditional Nepalese restaurant with fine meal at the evening and overnight at hotel.

    Day 02:  Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation
    On this particular day we start our tour with experience guide and takes you to the several most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu, world heritages sites of Kathmandu Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the renowned and wonderful  Swoyambhunath which is also called 'Monkey Temple' and Buddhists shrine (Baudha Nath). In the day time there will be pre-trip discussion about the trek equipments and we will meet the trek leader as well. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 03: Fly to Lukla & trek to Phakding (2640m)
    Early in the morning we will take 40 minute daring flight to Lukla (2,800m/9,186ft) above green scenery and snow capped mountains. This is one of the most exciting routes in world on hillside encircled by huge mountain peaks. Lukla is a gateway to the destination from where our trek begins. We start our trek through the affluent village of Lukla until we reach Phakding. For accommodation we have a short but most exciting hike and have a side trip of nearby monastery. Overnight in Phakding.

    Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m)
    The way is for many suspension bridges along the Dudh Koshi River one of which is the renowned Hillary Suspension Bridge and through wonderful and beautiful pine forest. First, we grasp wonderful view of the shimmering Mt. Thamserku (6618m) after that we come to the check post entrance to Sagarmatha National Park and pass through the village of Jorsale. The path ascends through the forests and bridges until we reach the convergence of the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers. After a final steep ascent of about two hours we get first glance of Mt. Everest peering over the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. From Chautara, we still need to walk about 1.5 hours to reach our destination Namche Bazaar which is a gateway to Mt. Everest and is the main trading center of this region. We stay overnight in Namche Bazaar.

    Day 05: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar (3440m)
    This is the planned familiarization day for this trek. We either spend day taking a day hike to Thame or visiting Khunde or relaxing and exploring Namche Bazaar itself. Our guides will take you to the Tourist Visitor Center near the headquarter of the Sagarmatha National Park where we can view an variety of things related to the first Everest climbers, Sherpa culture and we can learn about the various plants and animal life of the Everest region. We also take an attractive side tour up to Khumjung. We ascend to the famous airfield at Syangboche. The Khumjung valley is encircled by the snowy peaks of ongde and Thamserku and the terrified peak Khumbila hosts a well known monastery that houses a Yeti scalp. We also visit Hillary school which belongs at the same site. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 06: Trek to Thame (3800m)
    On this day we enjoy the spectacular view of Khumbu Himalaya from the various points. Thame is the village of the renowned Sherpa climbers. This is one of the highest village and a fantastic place to observe the cultures.

    Day 07: Trek to Khumjung (3780m)
    Khumjung is the largest Sherpa village in the Everest area. You will observe the spectacular Khumjung monastery, Edmund Hillary School, Yaks and Sherpa farm land and their exciting culture. A visit to Syangboche will give you the most beautiful and splendid view of Everest and other Khumbu peaks.

    Day 08: Trek to Tengboche (3860m)
    Tengboche is the largest and one of the most renowned places for the Buddhist monastery situated on a hill above Dudh Koshi valley. The scenery from here is one of the magnificent in Everest area. It is a superb place to view the sunrise and sunset over Everest. You can also observe the Buddhist culture and to take rest or it is also suitable place for the walk around.

    Day 09: Trek to Namche

    Day 10: Trek to Lukla
    Today is the last day of our trekking. On this day we walk to Lukla. You can trek at your own desired place freely and enjoy the natural beauty and the romantic atmosphere around.

    Day 11: Fly Lukla-Kathmandu.
    Flights to Kathmandu are typically programmed for morning .We fly reverse to Kathmandu after our long mountain voyage and move to hotel .you may get on recreation or shopping on your own. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 12: Free day in Kathmandu
    This is the free day and you can use it for your shopping .In the evening we will drive you for farewell dinner with cultural dance. You will enjoy there.

    Day 13: Final Departure
    Our representative from Adventure Mission Nepal (AMN) Treks will take you from hotel to the airport and on the way we will discuss about the experience of the trek and leave the airport after wishing to have a great journey.
