As the name itself suggests, the Annapurna View Point Trek is amidst the Annapurna Mountain Range in Central Nepal. Annapurna Range is one of the most majestic and mesmerizing mountain ranges in the world. It is the 10th highest and almost goes up to the height of 8,091 meters above the sea level. The beautiful eye catching mountain scenery is totally out of this world and is a trekker’s paradise.

Moreover, Nepal is famed for the largest altitude variations in the world as it changes from a mere 60 meter above sea level to a whopping 8,848 meters above sea level. Another thing worth mentioning is that there is a huge variation in the climatic conditions too ranging from arctic cold to tropical hot.

The Annapurna View Point Trek is often referred to as the Ghorepani/ Poonhill trek or the Sunrise Trek. It is so called, because you have to walk for nearly 45 minutes, early in the morning, from Ghorepani to get the best view of the sun rising over the Annapurna Range. This trek is a short one but considered as one of the great Mountain View point in the world and one of the most amazing ones in the Himalayan Region. Furthermore, this trek is the best for a beginner to get a grip on the scene. This trek gives you an opportunity to explore the different kinds of vegetation of the area and also get a glimpse of the local culture and the lifestyle of the people. You trek through tiny mountain villages like Ghorepani, Ulleri and Ghandruk which seem to have come right out of the picture postcards. Apart from this you also get to see two of the world’s highest mountain peaks, Mt. Annapurna (8,091m) and Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m).  We start our trek from Nayapul where it also ends and then drive down to Pokhara
