Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu [1300m]
Upon arrival on TIA, representative from Adventure Mission Nepal Treks & Expedition (AMN) greet you in traditional style and transfer to hotel.
Note: If you have an early flight then we can discuss for the day exploration in Kathmandu including some of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites or Thamel walk.
Day 02: Drive or fly to Pokhara. O/N stay in Pokhara or Drive Phedi trek to Dhampus. [1700m]
After breakfast we will drive or fly to Pokhara. If you can choose flight then we can drive to Phedi and trek to Dhampus, a hilly area with small settlement of Gurung community. You can see the magnificent view of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Lamjung Himal and Annapurna Range. Or if you choose to drive then we will stay overnight at Pokhara and enjoy the boating at Phewa Lake. Similarly, next day we trek to Dhampus or little further Pothana.
Day 03: Trek to Landrung [1600m]
After breakfast we will head towards Deurali through Pothana. At this point, you find yourself high up on the East side of the Modi Khola cascading down the Annapurna Circuit Sanctuary surrounded by complete ambience of nature. We will continue walking for 4 hours until we reach Landrung another interesting Gurung settlement. You can explore the village in the evening or just rest at the hotel witnessing some of the high mountains in the Annapurna region.
Day 04: Trek to Chomrong [2050m]
After breakfast we start to walk along the mountain path of stone paved trail, pass through a hamlet, cross a suspension bridge until we across dense forest of bamboo. You will find yourself in complete isolation in the middle of nature and lush green forest. Your trek does not stop here. After walking for some time we will reach Jhinu and stop there for a short break for drinks and snacks. There after we will deviate towards the north and walk for around 4 hours to reach Chomrong. Chomrong is one of the best places to see the Mount Fishtail, the virgin peak, Annapurna south and Hiunchuli very closely. It is rich in lush vegetation and has the settlement of Gurung people. Gurung people are engaged in British Army in early age. Here, we can experience the rich culture of Gurung’s with their warm hospitality.
Day 05: Trek to Bamboo or Dovan [2400/2600m]
Today after breakfast we start our day from Chomrong to Sinuwa and then Bamboo. Similarly, from Chomrong we walk steeply down to the Chomrong River and ascend up until we reach Sinuwa. Sinuwa is hill top from where we can see the panoramic view of Fishtail from different angle close to our eyes. After walking couple of hours through the green forest of rhododendron and Bamboo we reach at Bamboo. This place is popular for Annapurna Flora and Fauna and the name Bamboo is given due to the high production of Bamboo in this area. At Bamboo, we have our lunch and then walk almost an hour to reach Dovan walking all the way through the dense forest. Dovan is small settlement where people migrated from other places for the business purpose. So we can see the different caste and cultures over here.
Day 06: Trek to Deurali [3200m]
After breakfast we will start walking towards Deurali via Himalaya Hotel and immediately cross Chomrong Khola, and continue through the rhododendron-covered ridge path, mountainous terrains and forests of bamboo. The mesmerizing view of the Mountains including Fishtail, Annapurna South and Hiunchuli will energize you throughout the walk. We will cross Modi Khola and walk further for few hours until we reach The Himalaya Hotel. Similarly, after having short rest at Himalaya Hotel, we keep on ascending until we reach the Hinku Cave. The cave is popular for the business purpose as early time trekkers used this cave for shelter. In between Hinku cave Deurali there are numerous places where we can see icefall at winter time. After couple of minutes of walking we reach at Deurali for overnight stay. After lunch and before evening you can enjoy at the rivers sound as it comes from Annapurna glacier.
Day 07: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp [4130m]
Today we walk almost 6 hrs to reach Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) including short excursion at Machhapuchre Base Camp (MBC). After breakfast we start our journey to MBC, after few minutes of walking we follow the mesmerizing view of Machhapuchre and Gangapurna facing towards us. After we cross Bagar we ascend towards MBC, whenever we move towards the MBC we see the view more closely. Upon reaching at MBC we can see the picturesque view of Machhapuchre (Fishtail) and Annapurna III, Gangapurna and other peaks. We stay sometime over here to enjoy the view and move towards Annapurna Base Camp. On hiking the Annapurna circuit trail for 2 - 3 hours, we ascend North West small ridge branching out from the mountain pass to mountainside with widespread terraced fields showcasing tranquil meadows. As you reach Annapurna Base Camp, witness awesome picturesque landscapes, majestic panoramic view of snow-capped mountainous peaks like Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Singhachuli and other peaks and varied Himalayan cultural settings tucked beneath the southern slopes of the Annapurna massif. At evening, we can walk further to see the popular Annapurna Glacier which is quite huge and sun set view over Annapurna Range- the 10th highest peak in the world’s including Hiunchuli and other peaks. There are lot more to see but the duration will be very short, you cannot stop capturing the photographs of landscape and Himalayan Range.
Day 08: Trek back to Bamboo [2400m]
Early in the morning we can see the mouthwatering view of the Sunrise from Annapurna Base Camp. When the first rays of sun hits the mountains then Mountains glow like yellow. After breakfast, we start walking through Machhapuchre Base Camp, Deurali and Himalaya to reach Bamboo. Remaining time exploring the surrounding area of Bamboo.
Day 09: Trek to Chomrong [2100m]
Today after breakfast we start our trek to Chomrong through Sinuwa. The walk today will be 4 -5 hours through the green forest of rhododendron and Bamboo. After crossing the Sinuwa we walk down one hour to the Chomrong River and cross suspension bridge. After crossing the suspension bridge we walk all the way through the terrace farming and typical houses and villages, which make our walking more interesting. Finally we reach at Chomrong after walking couple of hours. Upon reaching at Chomrong we explore the surrounding area of the places and also enjoy the sunset view with lush vegetation and farming. From here, we can see the stunning view of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli very closely including Fishtail. Overnight stay at Chomrong.
Day 10: Trek to Tadapani or further 1 hour to Banthanti [2660m]
Today after breakfast we walk straight road about 2 hours to Gurgung Khola and cross the suspension bridge and ascend up to Chuile for a lunch. From here we can see the stunning view of the villages, terraced farming and Annapurna South. After enjoying our lunch with the magnificent view we walk less than 2 hours through the dense rhododendron forests to reach Tadapani. Tadapani is an excellent view point to glimpse heavenly sight of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Fishtail. For next day we have a strenuous and long walk so if you want we can walk further 1 hour to reach Banthanti in order to shorten the distance and makes our day easy for tomorrow.
Day 11: Trek to Ghorepani [2880m]
From Tadapani / Banthanti, we proceed further along steep trails. Nature spreads exotic sight of majestic snow-capped mountain peaks, lush vegetation and rich plant life before you. We climb through rhododendron forest to Deurali [2900m]. The path from Banthanti to Deurali is ascending and slippery too. Furthermore, it is the perfect place for the lunch and tea break station for many tourists. From Deurali we walk further to reach Gurung Hill from where we can see the mouthwatering view of Fishtail, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Dhaulagiri, Dhampus and other popular peaks also we can see the World Deepest Gorge: Kali Gandaki Gorge. We spent some time here by capturing the photos and feel as if we are in the heaven. Similarly, we walk for 2 hours and finally we will find ourselves in Ghorepani. Ghorepani also houses lodges to provide food and accommodation to travelers. Upon arrival at Ghorepani, refresh yourself for some time and explore the surrounding place with sunset view over Annapurna Range. Ghorepani is also renowned as the best mountain panoramic view point.
Day 12: Morning Hike to Poonhill- Trek to Nayapul and Drive to Pokhara.
We will hike to Poonhill [3210m], early morning about an hour for sunrise view over Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range. Poonhill is renowned for the world’s best view point from where we can see the panoramic view of Butterfly, Dhaulagiri I: the world’s seventh highest and tenth highest Annapurna I peak, Dhaulagiri II, III, Fishtail, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Nilgiri South, Dhampus Peak and any more snow capped peaks. After sunrise view, we will have the warm breakfast serve by the pun people, one of the ethnic people of Nepal. Also we will get opportunity to experience the warm hospitality and culture of Pun People. After breakfast, we will leave Ghorepani and walk towards Nayapul. We will march through Birethanti to reach Ulleri where a steep descend of 3500 steps leads down to Hille on the Bhurungdi Khola. Forty minutes beyond Birethanti, you come to the main road. Now you can easily access any means of transportation to drive to Pokhara. In the evening, you are free to wander by the lakes of Pokhara. [6 hrs walking]
Day 13: Fly/Drive to Kathmandu
From Pokhara you can either fly or drive to Kathmandu.
Day 14; Depart Kathmandu to reach another destination or fly back home with memories of the trek.
You can depart from Kathmandu to your home country or extend the trip and head for another trip within or outside Nepal.
