Our representative from Adventure Mission Nepal treks and Expedition will welcome you in traditional Nepali style with garlands and transfer you to the Hotel at Thamel. After brief rest we go head for the sightseeing of twin Newari villages Khokana and Bungmati. They are situated 14 KM south of Kathmandu city. Overnight at hotel.

Khokana and Bungmati- These two Newar Villages are located in the outskirts of the Patan District and are proposed as Tentative UNESCO heritage sites by the Nepal government. Khokana has the temple of Rudryaini and is also famous for the Mustard oil production. Bungmati, 20 minutes walk from Khokana through paddy fields is full of old Newari houses and architecture. These twin villages are one of the best places to experience Nepal’s age old heritages and to observe the daily life of the People. You will feel like walking in the 18th century Europe as you go through these streets.

Day 2

After a warm breakfast at hotel we start the 7 hours/200km drive to Pokhara. We will make few stops on the way as there are lots of places to capture photographs. We will follow the Trishuli river, one of the best rivers for amateur rafting until Mugling and then onwards go on the opposite direction of the Marshayngdi river for a while. Besides the small and simple villages the Prithvi Highway also offer nice view of mountains, most notably from Khairini and onwards. If the weather is clear you can see the Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, Manaslu and Annapurna as soon as you start going down from Kathmandu. In the evening stroll around the lake side or depending on the time you reach Pokhara fo for a boating trip in the Phewa lake.

After spending some time to understand Tibet and its political conditions in the area we head towards the Bindabasani temple and the Seti river gorge.

Day 4

Drive back to Kathmandu through the same way. We advise you to travel by air if you don’t feel good about back tracking the same road.
